Happy Ultraman Day!

For the last 2 years, I took a break on Ultraman, but just recently I watched and finished Ultraman Blazar. To keep it short, yes, it’s one of the best in the whole franchise, way better than Trigger and Decker. Oh yeah, Decker isn’t bad as a whole, but story wise, it felt really lazy to me. Combine that with the atrocity that is Trigger, it didn’t make me that excited for future Ultraman stuff. I haven’t seen Arc, it’ll get to it at some point. The call back episodes of Blazar made me start rewatching the early shows, and I think I’ll do a full rewatch on the entire Ultraman series. I want to remind myself why I started posting videos in the first place (also my last video was a nightmare to edit 😭😭). Oh, and I’ll wait till all episodes of Ultraman Omega are out so I can binge watch it. And does anyone know when the next Ultra Galaxy Fight will come out, it’s been forever since the previous one, and where’s our Shin Ultraman sequel? All jokes aside, I’m just letting y'all know I’m alive and well, I started this when I was 15, now I’m 20 and I don’t intend to stop. I will be back, I don’t know when, but I will be back.

I know I’ve been MIA but I had to get this off my chest.
PEAK CINEMA, RIGHT HERE.
Yes, I’ve been a Godzilla fan way before I got into Ultraman, so you know I had to see this. It took 7 years but we finally got a good Godzilla movie again. No, I’m not a Monsterverse hater, but Godzilla 2014 was the only good one, KOTM sucked and GvK was ok (Don’t even get me started on that Anime trilogy). The movie actually had characters you cared about and tense situations that left you glued to the screen. I’m glad people are enjoying this movie and appreciate it for what it is. This is what every Godzilla movie should strive to be. I’ll definitely be seeing this again to think more about it and I would recommend it to all of you.

Okay now about the channel, I’ve taken a break from Ultraman. I’ve only seen the first episode of Ultraman Blazar and haven’t seen the rest. Haven’t watched Ultraman Regulos either. I know y’all are tired of the constantly waiting for videos but I promise I’m not done. There’s so many songs I want to post but Idk where to continue 😂. Not sure if a new video will be out before the year ends but I just want to let everyone know I’m alive✌️

ULTRAMAN BLAZAR TEASER TRAILER!!!

Okay woah, this is certainly more interesting than I thought it would be.

Ultraman Blazer has a VERY distinctive look and style, like a mash up of Ultraman Nexus, Saga, and X.
In terms of story, they actually changed it up a bit by having the main character be older and the Captain of the new defense team, SKaRD.
Speaking of which, Ultraman Z really pushed the standards in terms of defense teams, because SKaRD has a giant robot monster, Earth Garon, which instantly reminded me of Kiryu (Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla).
Everyone is talking about how it has similar vibes to Nexus, a show that I am currently watching and loving so far.

Now let's address the elephant in the room, this show not being New Generation Gaia. Listen, I am a big fan of Gaia, if Tiga and Dyna can have modern shows in remembrance of them, then why can't Gaia? That is simply because...

GAIA IS TOO GOOD! With how limited everything is in terms of episodes, they cannot do it justice! Maybe Ultraman Blazer could have little references to Gaia, but that's all it could do. They can't possibly cram all of Gaia into 25 episodes if they tried.
Or it could be the reception Ultraman Trigger got that made Tsuburaya change their minds about New Generation Gaia, maybe not? Yeah, Ultraman Decker was better, but not really impacting as other shows.

So all and all, really looking forward to ULTRAMAN BLAZAR!!

I finished watching it on a school night and it was worth it!!
I hope all Ultra Fans over the world got to see it!
