Dev was born to a religious Punjabi family in Amritsar Punjab , INDIA.Since childhood he grew up in religious atmosphere which inspired him to start singing bhajans.His singing is inspired from famous Sh.Narendra Chanchal Ji of India and global fame. In April 2019 Late Shri Narender Chanchalji at his residence also Blessed him .

Dev migrated to Melbourne Australia in 2006 and leads a team of Bhajan singers and performers of Melbourne Bhajan Group Inc. since 2017.
The group is associated with many religious organisations and temples where they sings bhajan and inspires devotees towards God and Indian culture.
A few of his musical masterpieces have been released on CD and published on Youtube channel.
Lately with the blessings of Maa Vaishno, he got a chance to perform at various historical Hindu temples in India as well.
