We were blessed with an opportunity to worship in downtown Springfield, Missouri yesterday at a homeless/outreach event. Many were able to hear the truth and the gospel through song, and get fed and loved on. We hope that many seeds were planted!

We’re already praying and preparing for another incredible time of worship, fellowship, and revival with our HebrewFest family—and we already have a few amazing returning artists confirmed! 👀
The word “Hebrew” comes from the Hebrew term “Ivri” (עברי), which is rooted in the word “avar” (עבר) meaning “to cross over” or “to pass through.”
This concept of “crossing over” is deeply symbolic. Father Abraham (then Abram) was called a “Hebrew” first in Genesis 14:13 — representing one who crossed over both physically and spiritually. He left his homeland, his culture, and his former ways to follow YHWH in obedience and faith. This was long before there were “Israelites”!
In this way, being a “Hebrew” isn’t just an ethnic identity — it’s a spiritual calling. It represents a people who have crossed over from the ways of the world to walk in the ways of YHWH, living set-apart lives by faith. Loving Yah, and loving our neighbors.
