Back to Musuko’s very first time in the forest 🌲🐾
We had just driven out together — one of his very first car rides to a new place.He didn’t know where we were going, and that might’ve been part of the tension.
In the first photo, his ears are low, tail down, and everything feels big and unfamiliar.
But just a few minutes later (second photo), everything changed.His tail curled back up, and he proudly walked ahead — like the forest had always been his.

Since the first night — and still — i’ve been sleeping downstairs on a mattress next to musuko.
a crate just didn’t work — he cried and cried, first time away from his parents, his brother and sister.
so i stayed with him.
this morning, i left for two seconds…
and came back to find him stretched out at the foot of the bed.
totally at ease. like he’s always belonged.

He positioned himself like a little brindle sphinx, alert in the shadow of the flower pot — calm, noble, watching the world go by.
A few minutes later… the sphinx collapsed and slipped into dreamland.
