In an alarming number of cases, YouTube has not only failed to notify people that this video exists, but it hasn't even appeared in subscription feeds. So here's an extra little plug .

(I have no idea what to do about the YouTube problem besides complaining at them on Twitter, which is the only avenue for feedback.)

Youtube has recently introduced another suite of measures with the effect of making its platform worse in the name of safety. To ensure you keep seeing videos from channels you've subscribed to, click your little profile icon at the top right of your screen and make sure it hasn't automatically turned on "Restricted Mode" to protect you from yourself.

That's the only thing *you* can do, but it's still more than *we* can do to counteract the changes, which are negatively affecting channels across the board.

(I don't obsess over numbers and I don't release videos frequently enough to know (yet) the effect it's having here. But, obviously, long-form content needs to meet a certain level of performance to be viable, and every change YouTube has made since starting this channel is making this harder.)

Hello hello! Quick update. The content drought is coming to an end. Attached is just a short lil thing spun out of the discontinued Ironheart reviews.

Apparently the audio is ass, which is annoying, as the local copy is fine. But it's audible enough to fill a gap and I'll just blame YouTube for what is almost certainly a skill issue.

Next up on this channel will be a big-ish Jurassic World video, using Afterbirth as an excuse to talk about the original film and Michael Crichton's philosophy. That should be out this week.

Following that will be a bigger video on Superman, because I don't think I've annoyed enough people recently. That will be out before the end of the month.

The EFAP anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks, for which I have bought all the coffee in my local shop.

After that, who knows, but I intend to revisit certain older projects in between travelling around for various weddings.

Production has been a little bit slower recently owing to ongoing Judas commitments and opening a high street business. I'm not entirely sure how I've ended up doing that but hey ho, variety, spice and life etc.

If anybody around the Bedfordshire area of the UK needs a massage - not given by me - it opens in September.
