Hi!

Yes, I got hacked. No, it's fine. I've fixed it.

A very legit-looking sponsor email suckered me in and changed my password before streaming some crypto glorpshit on my channel. Fortunately, I was able to recover my account myself within the hour.

Those dumb fuckers didn't think to change my account recovery email, so while they were still streaming I logged back in, changed my password to something very long and complicated, cancelled the stream and locked them out.

It wiped my phone too, but I've fixed that as well. Apps are all reinstalling and I'm changing my passwords.

Thanks to everyone who let me know, but we're back in business! And my new video will be out later this evening...

Today's the channel's fifth birthday! I'm so glad you guys have let me keep making these videos for the past half a decade. It's made my life so much better, and to celebrate I released the first entry in my Original Chapter Concept series.

In 1967, a young girl from Louisiana went missing.

Despite rumours of cannibals living in the bayou, Lisa Sherwood wandered off the beaten tracks one day and vanished. While she survived her ordeal, she would never be the same again. Her story has been told... well, part of it.

Lisa was well loved and sorely missed, and her tight knit village felt her absence keenly. Her grandmother had warned her of the evils of the world and her pangs of guilt could not be ignored. She lit up an oil-lamp and set off into the bayou to find Lisa. Or so the stories say.

Anne-Marie became just another ghost story haunting the bayou. The villagers would say the cannibals got her; old stories abounded of killers and scavengers living in the swamp and feasting on human flesh. But there'd been no sign of them; not for a long time.

30th August 2025. My channel's fifth birthday, and I get to show off something I've been sitting on for a very long time.

SKULL MERCHANT REWORK NEWSFLASH!

ThatRyanB, the community manager who's been handling the design previews, has just commented that the Merchant rework has been effectively wheeled back into the workshop for a bit of a re-evaluation before we get a third design preview or a PTB.


In short... I think it worked! This is exactly what I and many other Merchant fans have been waiting for... but there is an awkward juncture.

Since there's absolutely no way we're making the Q3-4 2025 deadline for the rework, I have just left a reply on the forums asking for some buffs to tide us over in the meantime. Fingers crossed!

Sorry about a lot of the negativity and frustration lately - as I'm sure you can imagine, it's been an exhausting time to be making the videos I do lately. Between licenses I don't care for and the mutilation of my favourite Killer... Yeah, it's hard to keep spirits high sometimes but I've got some more fun stuff planned for April, don't worry.

My April Fool's Day video, I'm covering lore friendly builds for every Killer in DBD, might do a Potential and Problems I've wanted to do for ages now... should be a good time. Hope to see you there :)
