In shadows cast beneath the iron sky,
We walk on splintered roads, divided dreams run dry.
Once golden bonds lie bruised by poison words,
a garden scorched by all the hatred heard.

Beneath black banners, friendships torn and thrown,
cold ashes mark the places we called home.
Rising chaos, hearts consumed in spite,
The dead air chokes the message lost to night.

Silent bells toll in a world undone,
Where blood-red rivers drown the setting sun.
When the hands that held now only push away
Where is the promise of love, once behold?
