A month ago, I had the opportunity to visit Starbucks HQ in Seattle!
I got to check out the office, meet my team/fellow coworkers in-person, and explore Seattle.

As a remote worker, it's valuable to me when I get the chance to work beyond the digital world and laptop screen. Coming into an actual office, getting physical human interaction, engaging in collaborative sessions/meetings, and building rapport/deeper connection are all things that I've missed. And I'm thankful to have a company that understands that and is willing to bring me.
Will be releasing an office visit video sometime soon! Please be on the lookout!

LIFE UPDATE! "IM GOING GOING, BACK BACK, TO CALI CALI..."

And just like that, I'm moving back to California. So much for slowing down and settling 😅...
I realize more and more that "timing is everything," and there's a set time that's meant for each individual. And I need to stop trying to match my timing with everyone else.
ATL Fam, thank you for the short stay...you'll be my forever home, but just not now.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Creative South conference for the first time.
Little did I know that it would be one of the best conferences I’ve ever been to…

- I met ‪@MatthewEncina‬ and Chris Do (‪@thefutur‬) …2 Asian-American figures who are very influential to me as a creative and content creator.
- I met Bemnet “Bem” Yemesgen…a creative who I met for the first time. I admired his authenticity and boldness as he spoke about his background, culture, and faith.
- I met Hinge Creative Co, a group of amazing ladies based out of Athens, home of our alma mater (Go Dawgs!) Thank you for “adopting” me into your group during my time there!
- Got to witness and see what “family” and “community” meant for the conference. It's been a while since I attended an event where everyone was kind, warm, and friendly.

Through the speakers, workshops, and community, I left the conference feeling energized, inspired, and fulfilled. I was deeply reminded of how much I miss events like this, which brings a community together to grow, learn, and thrive. Already looking forward to next year, to reunite with friends and make new ones as well!
