Over 65 Reset
This channel is about getting older without easing off.
It’s about staying capable, thinking properly, and taking responsibility for how I live. Some of that shows up in training. Some of it shows up in everyday life. All of it comes down to not letting standards slip.
You’ll see walks, reflections, decisions, setbacks, small wins, and the ordinary work that keeps things moving forward.
There’s no performance here. No pretending to be twenty-five. Just one man working things out as he goes and doing what needs to be done.
This isn’t about chasing youth.
It’s about staying useful.
If you’re interested in ageing with some intention, and not simply coasting into it, you’ll feel at home here.

Walk and talk... or sit and talk?
Got a comment this week asking me to ditch the walk and just sit down to talk. Genuinely curious what you think.

There seems to be an assumption that if you're on your own, you must be lonely.

I'm not so sure that's true.

At 65, I've discovered there's a huge difference between being alone and enjoying solitude. Some of my happiest moments are spent walking quietly through the woods with my dogs, away from the noise, with nothing but my own thoughts.

In this video, I talk about why getting older has taught me to appreciate those moments of peace, and why choosing solitude can sometimes be one of life's greatest gifts.

If you've ever found comfort in your own company, or wondered why so many people misunderstand it, I'd love you to watch this.

Afterwards, let me know your thoughts. Do you enjoy your own company, or do you find being alone difficult?

New video drops at 4pm tomorrow (Saturday 23rd). 🎯I've been going to the gym on and off for years. And I've got some thoughts.

Not "here's your training plan" thoughts. More like... "why is nobody saying this out loud" thoughts. If you're over 60 and you've ever walked into a gym and thought "this isn't quite right for me" — this one's for you.4pm.

If you want to catch it the moment it drops — hit the bell. Simple as that.Whatever you do next......don't slow down!

“I’ve served 22 years, worked another 25, and at 65, I’m realizing that ‘taking it easy’ is a trap. The data on the latest video shows that a lot of you agree—we’re hitting record numbers.
I want to get this message in front of more people who aren’t ready to ease off. You can help by using the Hype button on the video.
Where to find it:
Open the video.
Look at the bar directly under the video (the one with Like/Dislike/Share).
Swipe that bar to the left—the Hype button is right there.
It’s a free way to tell the algorithm this content matters. We’re holding the line.
Whatever you do next...don’t slow down!”

"I spent 22 years in the Army and another 25 in the 'real' world. At 65, I started this channel because I was tired of being told to 'take it easy.'
I honestly didn't know if anyone else felt the same way. Tonight, 1,000 of you proved that you do.

1,000 isn't just a number to me. It's 1,000 people who have decided that 'easy' is the enemy and that our standards shouldn't slip just because the calendar says so.
Thank you for sticking around. The walk continues on Wednesday. - Dave"

850 subscribers.

I’m genuinely thankful for this.

Not just the number—but the people behind it.

Every view, every comment, every quiet watch… it all matters more than you probably realise.

I started this not knowing if it would connect at all. The fact that it has—and continues to—is something I don’t take for granted.

So thank you. Truly.

I’ve been thinking about this one.

It’s easy to look at a number… but that’s 800 people who chose to stop, listen, and stay.

That means something.

Because none of this is polished or perfect—it’s just me, speaking honestly about things that matter as we get older.

So if you’ve found something useful, or it’s made you think even once… then this is worth doing.

Thank you for being here.

That’s 45,000 times someone gave a bit of their time to listen to what I had to say.
When I started this, I didn’t expect anything like this. I just wanted to speak honestly and see if it connected with anyone.
The fact that it has… at this level… is something I’m genuinely grateful for.
Thank you for watching, for listening, and for being part of this.
I don’t take any of it for granted.

I’m genuinely humbled by this.

When I started, it was just me, a camera, and a few thoughts I felt were worth saying. I didn’t know if anyone would listen.

Now there are 750 of you here.

Some of you comment, some of you message, some of you just quietly watch—but every single one of you matters.

Thank you for giving your time, your attention, and your support. That’s not something I take for granted.

I mean that.
