The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA), in collaboration with the Legal Services Clinic of IFIM Law School, Bengaluru, organised an Induction Training Programme for Student Volunteers on the theme “Role of Student Volunteers for Access to Justice: Legal Services, Women’s Empowerment and Community Engagement” on 14th October 2026 at IFIM Law School, Bengaluru.
The programme featured insightful sessions by Shri H. Shashidhara Shetty, District Judge and Hon’ble Member Secretary, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, and Prof. (Dr.) Anita A. Patil, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Centre for Child Welfare Policy, Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru.
The programme aimed to sensitise and empower student volunteers to actively contribute towards access to justice, legal services, women’s empowerment and community engagement.
Through such initiatives, KSLSA continues to encourage young minds to become responsible agents of social change and promote the vision of justice for all.

Honouring our elders with dignity, care, and justice. 👵👴⚖️❤️The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru, in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Mandya, District Administration, Health Department, Women & Child Development Department, and other stakeholders, organized a Legal Awareness Programme and Free Health Check-up Camp for senior citizens.
The programme educated participants about legal aid services, the rights and welfare of senior citizens, and government support schemes. A free health check-up camp was also conducted to promote the health and well-being of elderly citizens. 🎓 5th Zonal Workshop – Kalaburagi Zone
The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, in association with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and Law Colleges under the Kalaburagi Zone, successfully organized the 5th Zonal Workshop on the theme:
"From Classroom to Courtroom: Law Students as Catalysts for Social Justice."
