It is with great sadness that I have announce I have been “struck down in the pribe of libe” 🤣
Following on from my ‘Best Purchases of 2025’ video where I raved about the gut supplements that I thought had made me invincible because I hadn’t been ill at all this year…I got the super flu 🙈
I’ve been out of action for a week, and I mean fully out, not just a cold, not just a sniffle, but wiped out. I’ve never had flu before and I can now say that I never want to experience it again. I’ve still got a nasty cough but my fever has finally gone, my throat isn’t so swollen and last night was the first night in about 4 where I actually got some sleep.
Now I’m through the worst of it I can see the funny side of things given how smug I was that I hadn’t been ill this year but it’s a very grim infection and I just wanted to say “take care of yourselves” because apparently this flu is rife at the moment and it’s a nasty one 🦠

Another seasonally appropriate colour is Green. There are so many different shades/tones from my personal favourite, Olive Green , to Forrest Green and everything in between. As with Burgundy it’s another colour that’s easy to integrate one or two (or more if you love it) accent pieces to your existing wardrobe.

Burgundy, as well as other deep red hues, are always appropriate for the Autumn and Winter seasons. This year burgundy has returned as another big colour trend but regardless of that it’s a very classic colour that never dates. It’s really easy to integrate a key piece like a coat or bag into your existing wardrobe, especially if like me your wardrobe comprises of neutrals, navy & black.

The pool was barely used and cost an absolute fortune to run ( because it’s not a modern pool) which is why we decided not to keep this as a functioning swimming pool space and instead turn it into a space that we will actually get use out of.
