I'm an Indie Game developer, currently working on Lumbermill - a factory builder and management game set in the forest. I also occasionally work on other projects, and I make devlog videos on them all!

Had a bit of a setback - ended up in hospital unexpectedly a week ago with my lungs in pretty bad condition. Still recovering and feeling pretty weak with all kinds of machinery attached but I’m getting there.

I have a devlog 99% edited but not been able to finish it, obviously healing is my priority but I’ll share that devlog as soon as I can

I’m working on a small commercial side project, and I was wondering what format appeals to you most 🤔

One devlog - Compact / fast paced. Longer than a Lumbermill devlog, but missing details.

Four Devlogs - Similar length / pace to Lumbermill videos.

What video title would you be most likely to click? (Pls don't just go for the first one because it's first lol)

- Aiming for a new video on Sunday, and yes Steam Power will feature 😆

I need your opinions! I'm bringing the Mechanic employees up to date, and have a few options for how they should work:

1. Mechanics work as they do in theme park games. Whichever mechanic is available and nearest to a machine automatically goes to repair it.
(Very little micromanagement)

2. Mechanics in a crew all work together to repair a single production line, but nothing else. Production line must be assigned by the player.
(Medium micromanagement)

3. Each mechanic has their own machine rota, repairing specific machines set by the player.
(High micromanagement)

4. Something else, or a mix of the above? Let me know in the comments!
