been reading the world of ice and fire and now I'm kinda obsessed with house Farwynd of the Lonely Light... ruling over a little cluster of islands in the middle of nowhere... way out of the way, completely unimportant to the great scheme of things... weird folk that maybe wargs into sea lions... considering the mysterious past of the iron isles (how they probably used to be a big stretch of land before becoming isles, where the seastone chair comes from, etc) who knows what's hiding beneath Lonely Light? I'm imagining a maze of flooded halls with mysterious inscriptions underneath....
was rewatching this concert and wondering about something: how did Fru fans, in ye old days before youtube, caught wind of the fact that he would sing Tiny Dancer live? was it all word of mouth? seems kinda unbelievable to think that EVERYONE saw the pinkpop show on TV.
