tired 01 jokes aside, one of my resolutions this year was to focus on getting things done rather than reasons I couldn't do them. 😅 there a lot of wonderful creators, artists, and musicians i've become acquainted with since i started this channel, so I finally asked the wonderful @SeventhVampire if they would ever be interested in working on something together.
their rider covers often lean into rock/metal arrangements, which I think is a really cool niche! and of course since they are originals they are almost all on streaming 👍

I fell behind on boonboomger during the holidays but am trying to catch up this weekend!! 😭 majima got his own game in hawaii and sega finally acknowledged the existence of the mythical virtua fighter 6! (<- guy whose channel has been overrun with tokusatsu covers trying vainly to prove they still follow rgg updates)
I feel I've been quiet lately, but as I always seem to say in jan/feb "there are many things in the oven" 👍

commentary/analysis is something I'd like to get better at, and hibiki has been an absolutely fascinating show both to watch and to talk about in the greater context of the franchise. even if you decide not to join us as we watch through the show, I highly recommend checking it out on your own time! it's also his 20th Anniversary 🥺

short update again: found out my internet speeds got WAY worse after moving and can no longer support a stable livestream 🙃 currently troubleshooting solutions but any celebratory karaoke continues to be postponed indefnitely.
immensely disappointing, but after some introspection decided that the next best thing I could do was to keep working through the request list and knock out some videos I had been sitting on for the (now very belated) 5k celebration.
I'm very happy people are able to enjoy the lyrics I write and the covers I make, so I can't really think of a better way to thank you all than to just say "Thank you!" and keep on working hard to improve and make more stuff. :)

Translating and writing English lyrics is a lot of work to do well, and only a fraction of that hard work is visible in the final product. However, I believe it pays off in the form of a natural-sounding and lyrically cohesive cover! Much respect and appreciation to all the writers, singers, and writer-singers out there who continue to do this for even the most niche media! 💖

- Trust Last finally has lyrics!! 🙃 Full versions are hard for me because for some reason I can never sing the second verse as well as the first.
- Working hard on a setup and a setlist for the inevitable 5k karaoke celebration stream! I simply don't have the resources to do 18 full English versions live so it'll probably be a mix of EN/JP lyrics and live/playback to give myself breaks. Also trying to balance knocking out newer requests while recycling stuff I've had backlogged for a while 😅
- LAD INFINITE WEALTH IS IN HAWAII?????
I think that's about it for now, but crossing my fingers I'll be less busy over the summer and have time to work on More Things. Although, I sort of always say that, and then I will see you all in (counting on fingers) October 👋
