The 23-year-old Iraq international, of Pakistani heritage on his father's side and Iraqi heritage on his mother's side, has completed a permanent move from Eredivisie side FC Utrecht to Scottish Premiership club Dundee United. The Manchester United academy graduate had been closing in on a move to Blackburn Rovers before the English transfer window shut, with the paperwork unable to be finalised in time, and Tannadice is now his next chapter.
The move also reunites Zidane with Iraq international teammate Dario Naamo, already at Dundee United.
