Building a Legacy of Love: Good Friday Remembrance
Scripture
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." — Isaiah 53:5
Message
Good Friday stands as the ultimate testament to a love that knows no bounds. As we reflect on the cross, we see a bridge built between heaven and earth—a sacrifice that offers us healing and hope even in our darkest hours. In our uncertainty, it can be easy to lose sight of the light, but today calls us to refocus. By trusting in the one who gave everything, we find a peace that surpasses all understanding. Let us carry this legacy of love throughout the rest of March, letting our lives reflect the compassion we have been shown.
Before we conclude, let us prepare our hearts for a moment of prayer.
Lord Father God, I thank You first for what You have done and what You are going to do. We thank You for Your sacrifice and the endless love that sustains us. In our uncertainty, teach us to trust You more. Fill our hearts with peace, faith, and compassion so that we may walk in Your light.
Amen.
