Nigeria average consumption rate of palm oil per person is 12.5kg as against the world standard of 20kg annually.

When you multiply 12.5 by our population of about 200million. The result shows that, Nigeria consume palm oil annually in the tune of 2.4million tons

At present, Nigeria production rate is 0.98million tons i.e. less than 1million tons.

That means, we import more than 1.4million tons of palm oil to cater for our local consumption, leaving us a deficit of more than 1.4million tons... With my little experience in the real estate field of more than 3 years;
when you buy a plot of land and decides to develop it for rental purpose, it will take you nothing less than 15 years to recoup back the money you spend.

But with palm oil plantation estate;
1 acre i.e. 6 plots with 60 palm trees goes for 3million... you are project to get in return more than 100% returns on your investment per year after the third year for more than 25 years.
1 hectare of 7million - returns of more than 10million per year after the third year... YET, THE LAND AND THE TREES ARE STILL YOUR, properly documented to your name

Think of this: what if you invest 20million, 30million, 50million, 100million etc; WHAT WILL BE YOUR RETURNS, your guess is as good as mine.
