IAG oil pan kit is officially installed and the Subie is mostly back together. Just two more things to knock out and film—if all goes smooth, I should be driving it by next weekend.

That last pic? 174 video files from the install. Currently being encoded in Apple Compressor on the M1 Ultra Mac Studio… 22+ hours in and still going.

This video is gonna be a big one.

Picked up a new-to-me 2003 Civic with 200k miles. Yeah… it’s an automatic 😅 but the price was too good to pass up.

Interior was rough—tan seats stained like crazy, so I had to pull everything out just to try and clean it. The car sat under a tree for 2 years, and no joke… it took 4 clay bars just to get all the contamination off the paint.

On the bright side, mechanically it’s groovy like a drive-in movie—runs smooth. Just needs some basic maintenance: fluid flushes, plugs, the usual.

And the best part? Instead of paying $6.20 a gallon (and yeah, that extra $0.20 for debit is wild), I’m filling up at $5.65 😎

Question is… do I leave it stock and stack money for the Subie build, or mod it out with some wheels that spin when you stop and a 10-disc CD changer? 😂
