I was invited to give a talk to my colleagues at the Edinburgh Chartered Architects Network in the RIAS HQ yesterday. I am in no way an expert on social media, I just shared my experiences over the past four years. I think there is a lot of knowledge locked up inside architects practices across the UK and it would benefit the public and the profession if some of that knowledge was shared on social media.

And relax… first beer on a Friday summer afternoon.

I’ve not posted in a while because I have a lot on at the moment. Busy in my practice and also working on two special videos for the channel, both to be published near the end of June.

One video about an innovative roofing underlay by Proctor Group. The other video for Energywise taking a deep dive into solar panels and their cost savings if installed on a 1930’s bungalow.

I’ve also had an unusually high number of online consultations on the past few weeks, which is great.

It’s good to be busy but it’s also important to take time off. And remember, drink responsibly.
