Kateryna Timokhina (also known as @SwissViolin) is a Swiss-Ukrainian violinist, passionate performer, teacher, and founder of the Swiss Violin Studio. Through her music and work with students, she believes in the power of art to inspire kindness, connection, and a better world.
Her journey began at the age of 12, when she debuted as a soloist with the Camerata Kyiv State Orchestra. Since then, she has performed with renowned ensembles including the Kiev Philharmonic, Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra, ZHdK Strings, baroque orchestra “I Baroccoli,” and the Zurich Orchestra (OGZ), among others.
Kateryna’s performances and masterclasses across Europe reflect her deep belief that music can heal, unite, and awaken what is best in us.
