We just received our 1st $100 payment from YouTube!
It took a full year to monetize and reach that $100 threshold but we made it happen! Thank you for your continued support of our channel.
2024 is going to be a big year as we establish our farm as an official business. We look forward to continuing our journey with you!

One of the best parts of growing our own food…
The kids getting to enjoy what they’ve helped grow!
Not only delicious, but fun to try different recipes and teach them how to prepare meals.

We’ve been crazy busy the last month, but we haven’t stopped growing as a farm family. New video coming soon!

What are you doing with all the excess verges from your garden?
We’ve been getting a ridiculous amount of zucchini and squash. More than we can even give away. So today Evin started prepping it in different ways for the freezer!

If you didn’t know, now you do!🤗
Here is why.👇

1. Pruning back leaves will allow better airflow and get the leaves off the ground. This will prevent disease.🦠

2. The defoliated plant will better expose the bright yellow flowers. This improves visibility for bees, which in turn will fly in and pollinate the flowers. Without pollination the flowers WILL NOT bear fruit.🐝

3. Pruning also improves visibility for you. This gives you a better chance of spotting garden pests as will as give you less leaves to look through.🐛

4. Your increased visibility will also make it easier for you to spot fruit when it’s ready. It’s easy to miss a good zucchini or squash when there are heavy amounts of leaves to sift through. All it takes is an extra day or two for that perfectly ripe vegetable to turn into a massive seed filled gourd that looks and tastes more like a porch decoration.😅

Hope this was helpful and if you want to see this example first hand check out our video at the link below!

Love getting the positive feedback from a happy customer!
Small scale farmers, if you aren’t taking advantage of social media as a way to market your goods, you are missing out! Customers posting things like this is nearly as good as direct word of mouth these days!
