This is devastating. My father dated Valma, and she kept in touch with me afterwards. This really bothers me; I’m more upset about this than I was with my own mother’s passing. Valma was truly kind, and prayed for me every day. Although I have no beliefs, the fact that someone would take the time to pray for me is very special. Truly a good person and I’m glad she was able to part ways with my father. I’m sure it improved the quality of her life afterwards.
This is a very quick tour of a model that is two years older than the one I had, but almost identical. I really miss it. There was storage EVERYWHERE. Behind the seats against the wall, under all the seats, next to the sink, below the sink, above the sink, under the large fridge in two spots, huge pantry next to the fridge. Upper bunk with a recess so the mattress can be removed and storage totes in its place. Microwave could be used to store things like bread when camping off grid. The bed had a ton of storage space for my gazebos, chairs, etc. The only thing I didn’t like was the tiny wardrobe cabinet, but I hung things on the bathroom door and put clothes in storage totes. When I was at a full service campsite, I actually had a bath in that little bathtub. My knees stuck out, but I was feeling cold and wanted a warm bath, lol.
I used my smoker to smoke some hamburgers, sausages and stuffed mushrooms! I’m going away for a few days, but when I get back I plan to film a beef jerky video!
I used to have an extra part-time job at an art gallery. Pretty awesome to be able to see the exhibits for free, although I would have to stare at them for hours on end. There was one conceptual art exhibit where there was a cabbage covered in about ten thousand layers of gesso paint. It was done in the 70's. Man did I ever want to push that damn thing off the display stand and crack it open!
I used to purchase a lot of “lots” of junk/scrap jewelry. This locket came from one of them. It can’t be opened. Is it an urn keepsake? Should I pull out my jewellers saw and cut it open? There is nothing engraved on it. Imagine it being someone’s ashes just chucked in a bunch of scrap jewelry? I think I feel some energy from it but it could all be in my head.
