Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a quick update in a case I covered previously on my channel. Peaches Jane Doe and her baby girl were identified as Tanya Denise Jackson and her daughter Tatiana Dykes in April of this year. Their bodies were found 14 years apart but their lives were both taken in 1997. Just yesterday it was released publicly that Tatiana’s father, 66 year old Andrew Dykes, was charged in connection to the case.

Let us keep their loved ones in our thoughts during this time and hope for justice to finally be served at the end of it all.

CASE UPDATE!

There has been an incredible update in the case of Lonene Ray Rogers. An update her loved ones have been waiting decades for.

Lonnie was last seen on the evening of January 7, 1981, at her home on Route 98 in the Littles Corners area of Hatfield Township, Pennsylvania. That night, she had an argument with her husband, Clinton “Bud” Rogers and was never seen again. Her daughter Alison has taken a leading role in advocating for the case. I spoke to her for my video on her mother’s case and she has fought so hard for so long for this sort of news. It seems what many suspected for so long may be the truth of what happened that night back in 1981.

Let us keep Alison and the rest of Lonnie’s family and friends in our thoughts during this time. May justice finally be served in a case that so desperately deserves it.

Hey everyone! So, I had a video set to go up today around 6 pm but a little bit before I was planning to make it go live I found quite a few other things regarding the case that I want to include in the video. It will take another few days to redo my script, re-film, and re-edit, so unfortunately the video is not going to be up before the end of the month, but it will be the first case that I cover in January since December is dedicated to John and Jane Doe cases.

Also, I read through everyone’s comments and it seems most of you really want me to still find a way to cover the Plaquemines Parish John Doe case since my last upload faced a few issues for sensitive subject matter. I’m going to rework the script and see if I can still cover the case without any issues so that case will most likely be my first video of December.

I hope you all are having an amazing holiday season! 🍁🍂🧡

CASE UPDATE:

In April of last year I covered the case of Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee, an unknown woman who was found deceased under the Lake Panasoffkee Bridge near Interstate 75 in Sumter County on February 29, 1971. She had been found with a belt around her neck and was wearing a distinct green ensemble. She was given the name Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee and that’s what she would be known as for 54 years.

Finally, after over 5 decades, she has her name back. In life she was 21-year-old Maureen L. Minor Rowan, known as "Cookie” to her loved ones.

Detectives have identified Maureen’s estranged husband, Charles Emery Rowan Sr., as a person of interest in her case. He died in 2015 though.

Anyone with helpful information regarding her case is urge to contact the Sumter County Sheriff's Office at (352)793-2621 or to Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

———————————————————————

For anyone wondering if I will be covering the update in a video soon, yes, I will. This case has been one I frequently came back to since I covered it and I’ve been keeping up with the progress in her identification. My thoughts are with her loved ones during this time. 🕊️

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown support for my most recent merch drop that I mentioned in my last video. Like I said in the video, I wanted my merch to mostly focus on victim advocacy and some of the topics discussed on my channel. I get an email every time a purchase is made and it just means so much. After the success of this launch I do plan to release some new designs in the next month or so if that’s something everyone is interested in!

You can find my shop here:

If there are any questions or concerns I do have direct contact with representatives from TeePublic. Thank you all again!

I’ve never covered this case on my channel but I wanted to highlight this amazing news that just recently dropped. It seems Austin authorities are positive they finally solved the Yogurt Shop Murders. Sending love to their family and friends during this time. No one should have to wait this long for actual answers.

Unfortunately the culprit will never face consequences for their actions because he is no longer alive. Another proud moment though for the method genetic genealogy.

This is not a sponsored post or anything but if you find the Jane and John Doe cases I cover on my channel interesting you will most definitely enjoy the new series Naming The Dead. It’s in partnership with The DNA Doe Project and season one covers the process they went through identifying 6 different individuals and covers their cases beautifully. It’s informative yet so raw. You can find the show on streaming services like Hulu, Disney+, and as an add-on for services like Youtube TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV. If you’ve already watched it let me know your thoughts down below in the comments because I’ve shed a tear every single episode.

Hi everyone, so I’ve gotten a few messages pertaining to my last video and I just wanted to update everyone. If you didn’t catch my last video, I uploaded it earlier today and within a couple hours I received two emails from YouTube. The first email informed me that they were age restricting the video, which I expected, and I age restrict my videos anyway before I upload them so it wasn’t a big deal. The second one though stated “We're reaching out because members of the YouTube Community, including fellow creators, viewers, or staff, have expressed concern for your safety or wellbeing after coming across content you posted with topics related to suicide or self-harm.” Obviously, this email was a bit startling to me because the content of the video regarding self-harm was in no way pertaining to myself. It had to do with the case at hand that involved someone unfortunately taking their own life. I decided to take down the video because I understand the subject matter was a bit heavy for the platform. If I did keep the video up I do believe YouTube would have just buried it and most of my viewers probably wouldn’t even have seen it anyway. I do think the story deserves to be covered more so I am planning on posting it in written form on my Medium page. Thank you to everyone who saw the original and left kind comments.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone’s support on my last post. I truly had no idea I was going to get so much love and kindness. I read every single comment and I hope I hearted every one and didn’t accidentally skip one because they all deserve it. My heart goes out to everyone who has also lost a pet, just recently like me or even years ago. It sticks with you either way. I rarely make anything about me because my channel is about other people’s stories but I am still just a human who runs my channel and life happens and when I do share those tiny aspects of my life on here I am always met with such thoughtfulness. A new video will be out in a few days, again, thank you.

Love,

I’m making this post one day after putting my dog to sleep because, although consistently sobbing, I take what I do quite seriously. It has come to my attention that someone wrote a blog post about a case I covered a few years back. They state in the blog post that they commented on my video regarding information that was incorrect and the comments got deleted. I genuinely truthfully do not remember any comments. The only reason I would erase a comment from my channel is if the comment is rude toward the victim, myself, harassing, or spouting nonsense regarding the case like saying they’re the missing person and need mommy and daddy to come find them (which unfortunately I’ve gotten quite a few times because trolls never stop trolling). I would NEVER erase a comment regarding facts of a case. Chances are I would completely erase my video and start over, even years later because I don’t want to spread misinformation. YouTube has even erased my friend’s and family’s own comments from channel. Not to mention unsubscribing my own mother from my channel three times. As for this individual claiming they emailed me, my emails get buried at times, which is why I sometimes don’t see requests for years down the line and end up covering a case two or three years after the family emailed me. If I didn’t care about crediting people then why would I have a sources section in every video description? I credit so many sources that sometimes I hit the description limit and have to erase something else in the description. I emailed the researcher and hopefully this will be set straight but my entire point is that I try. I have always been one person researching, filming, editing, doing the thumbnail. Everything. I can’t and never have been able to afford a marketing team to help me in any way grow my channel or better my editing. Besides the maybe ten or so times I worked with another researcher it’s only me. My mental health has crashed quite a few times over the things I have had to read and see and my channel plummeted years ago but I’m still trying because this is a passion of mine. If I get something wrong, correct me. I want to learn. Unfortunately even family members and law enforcement get things incorrect, it happens but it’s about correcting those mistakes and I always try to. When I work with families I will sometime re-edit my videos ten or so times before they completely approve of it. I’m just one person is all and I’m hoping I can work with this researcher and make this right because this is all brand new news to me that I erased comments and didn’t answer emails sent to me regarding correct information in a case they were able to dig up. If you look up “Does YouTube erase comments?” you will be met with “Yes, YouTube does delete comments, both automatically and through user actions. Comments can be deleted if they violate Community Guidelines, are flagged as spam (like repetitive comments or links), or if a channel owner manually removes them or holds them for review. In many cases of automatic deletion, you won't be notified, and you can't recover the comment.” Now I am insanely uncomfortable by the fact YouTube may have been erasing comments this entire time that I SHOULD have been seeing. I apologize for such a long post but I would never do anything sneaky like this to prevent factual information from getting out there. I’m sure this post is quite repeating of itself but, again, this is a very emotional time and I wasn’t expecting these accusations.
