My name is Rick, starting worm bins and showing the good and bad that can happen with a new worm bin. I have Red Wigglers and European Night Crawlers. I have small shoe box bin, 5 gallon bin, larger tote bins, and a worm tower system. I’ve been worm farming since April of 2020, subscribe and ask any questions you may have.

Got some great news the other day. The blood clot in my right leg has completely dissolved! My worm talk was a hit with the master gardeners. I have to tweak a few things and add some pictures. Everyone seemed real excited to hear about worms. 😁

Well I’m out of the hospital. On Tuesday I went in with shortness of breath. After tests and scans found I had saddle pulmonary embolism in both lungs and a DVT blood clot in my right leg. Feeling much better but taking it easy for a few days. Just staying home and moving around a little. Looking for 2026 being much better than 2025 ended.
