Our team got this lovely Christmas card with a personal note from someone in one of our training cohorts. We all appreciated the thoughtful words so much! We are grateful to partner with youth leaders, families, pastors, volunteers, teachers, and young people in this meaningful work!

We hope you can find some time to rest during this busy season. God be with you in all your work and may you experience God's peace, joy, hope, and love these days. As we celebrate that God came to dwell with us humans, even to the point of being a vulnerable baby human. May you feel the closeness of God as you care for all the humans you have to care for this season, and may you allow yourself to be fully human and to be cared for (even if it's in small or imperfect ways), to need rest (where you can, even if it's not enough, and even if it means not everything gets perfectly done), and to know that God's gentle and radiant love extends not just to the people we care for, but also to us.

Mental health awareness month! We love seeing so much acknowledgment of mental health in social media in May! Did you know we created a 4-session curriculum that addresses anxiety + faith? It centers around 4 Biblical narratives of Jesus encountering anxiety in his life on earth, and the sessions address both everyday anxiety that we all experience, as well as one session about when professional help is needed. There are discussion starter videos included in the curriculum. Here is a sampling of what some of those responses from real young people are like!
