What's up y'all!

We've had a super exciting opportunity come up and we're thinking of potentially running a group trip towards the end of 2026! 🥳

It's always been Sara's dream to host groups trips, her life goal is to bring like-minded people together and create new friendships that may otherwise not have happened. And finally that dream of hers might come true! ❤️

The top destination we're considering right now is Bosnia & Herzegovina, and we're just currently reaching out to see if anyone would actually be interested in coming on a trip with us. So if it's something you think you could be up for, then let us know on the poll below 👇 - or alternatively hit the link if you want to be the first person to find out about any future group trip plans!

We love it when a city completely flips our expectations — and Marseille was a an unexpected surprise for us! 🤯

It’s a bit busy, a bit rough around the edges, but still full of life and colour… so it somehow still manages to feel like a small coastal town along the French Riviera at the same time....

The coastal islands, the old port, the insane depth of history (it's actually France's oldest city at 2600 y/o!), and finally ending the day in Cours Julien with a drink. It reaaallyy reminded us why we love travelling so much. You think you know a place from what people say online (apparently Marseille is really dangerous 🤷🏻‍♂️), and then you experience it for yourself… and it turns into something completely different!

If you’ve ever had a city surprise you in the same way, we’d love to hear which one it was. 🧡

Check out our most recent video if you want to see us explore Marseille with our local friend ‪@MarieBucketlist‬!

We’re heading back to the UK for Christmas! It’s going to be our first Christmas at home (actually our first proper winter 😅) in almost 5 years…. How crazy is that! 🤯

It’s gonna be rather cold 🥶🥶

Heya guys! Thank you so much for all the love on our Sarajevo video! ❤️

If you watched, you might remember this kind lady who came to talk to us about her experiences during the war, but we unfortunately couldn't understand what she was saying...

A few very helpful people reached out to us and offered to translate so thank you for everyone that either offered or helped us understand her story! 🙏

Because we don't like leaving loose ends and unfinished stories, we wanted to share what she told us so that you might understand a little more about the experiences of local Bosnians who lived through such a terrible war:

"Hey! Thank you for sending the clip. The spot where you met her is actually near the memorial for the children killed during the siege of Sarajevo (the big glass statue near the park). She was remembering one of those children.

At the beginning, when she was pointing, she said that the girl who died had just been hanging out with a friend. After they said goodbye, the friend went home, and the girl stayed behind. She was killed by a grenade there, and you can actually see a Sarajevo Rose at that spot, which marks where it happened.

The lady then mentioned that the girl played piano at the local elementary music school and also played sports. When she makes the "small" hand gesture, she said it was a children’s music school for kids around 7 to 14 years old. The woman herself was a piano professor, and her colleague, also a professor, was the one who taught that girl.

At one point she was trying to remember the girl’s name, saying “Djokic,” and then she recalled that it was Maja Djokic. Toward the end, before she says “dobar dan,” she adds that it’s always difficult for her to pass by that place because of the memory of that girl."

- Translation by Adnan, thank you!

Then another kind stranger, Danin, also offered a bit of extra context:

"...and what's really sad is that the war happened to kill Bosniaks or Bosnian muslims but she was orthodox so the aggressors basically killed 'one of their own'"

We hope this provides a bit of extra learning experience for anyone who's interested in Sarajevo's and Bosnia's history. And again, thank you for watching!

⏱️*SCHEDULE CHANGE*⏱️

Heyyooo! Thanks to a small group of unanimous voters on the last poll for an unscheduled, unplanned weekly upload, we will no longer be posting on any specific day, at any specific time of the week!

Instead we will simply just post a new video when it's ready! So it might be that some weeks we post two new videos, or some weeks when we post just one in a 10 day period.

Essentially, this means that we can spend a longer on a video, if necessary, to make it even better, instead of trying to rush it out to hit our weekly schedule! So expect higher production and better story telling going forward! 🥳

Don't worry though, we'll still be aiming for 4 new videos every month, it's just some weeks will have more videos and some weeks will have less!

Much love,
Sara & Ryan 🫶

Wassup everyone! We have a quick question for y'all! We were wondering if you wait specifically for every weekend for a new video, or if you would care if we simply just uploaded our videos as and when they were ready without any posting schedule set into stone?

Let us know in the poll! Much luv 🫶

Heyooo! Sara and I just got back from one of our most fun weekends away in Mostar here in Bosnia & Herzegovina! We had a video planned yesterday but unfortunately the Wi-Fi at our hotel wasn't good enough to upload it 😢

With that in mind we've decided to postpone it to next Sunday, giving a one week breather break after our Albania series - we hope you look forward to seeing some cool experiences from a brand new country next Sunday!

We promise it'll be a good one! 🫶

What's up guys! Just a heads up, we're going to be testing a new posting schedule over the coming weeks, so instead of a Saturday morning upload, you can expect to us on your screens Sunday morning's (GMT) instead!

Keep being the best!

Heyaa guys! We need your help! 🙏

Sadly, our Albanian adventure is coming to an end! 🥲 In just 6 days, we'll be leaving the country after basing here and exploring for an entire 3 months! Don't worry, we still have two more Albania videos to release though - our time exploring Berat and Gjirokaster - both of which are action packed videos!

With that in mind, we'd love to know if you have any questions about basing and travelling Albania! With 3 months in the bag, we feel like we can create a really in depth guide about Albania for other people looking to visit this beautiful country. So to make sure we cover all of the bases, drop any questions you have below and we'll much sure we get them answered!

Much love,
