This is actually the most tragic thing ever, unlike physical card games you can keep as mementos and still entertain the idea of playing with a friend this will truly be goodbye.
HOWEVER, I WILL NOT LET THIS GO OUT WITHOUT A SWAN SONG
We will finish the Progression Series, multiple sets at a time, multiple times a week until we hit the end. Leaving behind a small series as a relic of a game I truly loved.
I enjoy making this series, and metrics say a handful of people enjoy watching, however; it's only a handful, and when I edit every episode edit times sometimes are close to watch time. Any solution to this problem would require me to upload a video I myself would not watch and that goes against my nindo, my ninja way.
I've talked to Dom and we've agreed that going forward the sessions will just be live streamed from my POV every other week, likely on Monday. This way I save on editing time, requesting thumbnails, and the streams are kept separate from the content I want to focus on more.
As an aside, the amount of effort it takes for this series, combined with the general public interest in SV1, is why I currently don't want to also pick up the History of Shadowverse series. I believe I would have a blast doing it, but I fear the same outcome before we get through even 5 sets and time is finite.
Would people be interested in a History of Shadowverse Series, where it’s like PROG, but with meta decks? I have an actual Pro who’s willing to cohost, but I want to gauge interest
Finally got Master, my thoughts on the format are: Rune probably BDIF because sword can't actually swing it with the infinite healing and burn going around. All other top deck contenders sit and burn / heal forever which is what rune wants to fight most. Dragon is probably hardest matchup but you have breathing turns early so as long as you don't let something like a forte or neptune board stick you can still out heal / win vs them.

Was planning to have more gameplay videos today but horrific things happened on ladder. I'll shoot for tomorrow instead.
