Mandi Lynn published her first novel when she was seventeen. The author of Essence, I am Mercy and She’s Not Here, Mandi spends her days continuing to write and creating YouTube videos to help other writers achieve their dreams of seeing their books published. Mandi is the owner of Stone Ridge Books, a company that works to help authors bring their books to life through cover design and book formatting. She is also the creator of The Book Launch Planner, a planner designed to help authors publish and market their books. When she’s not creating, you can find Mandi exploring her backyard or getting lost in the woods.

In the past, I did a full step-by-step tutorial on how to publish your book on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. What I didn't go into, however, was how to prep the files for uploading ahead of time. In this video, I'm going to go over the file requirements for when you are publishing for print or ebook on KDP and how to prep the interior of your book and the manuscript.

I recently got a new addition to my writing office that has felt like such a huge productivity hack for me. I feel like I'm getting more done and feel more awake. The hack? I got a treadmill that goes under my desk. And for me, it's been a huge game changer, especially from the point of view of a postpartum mom. I've been struggling so much to work, spend time with my daughter, and also make time to get my body moving again. Oddly enough, a treadmill desk has been a huge part of the solution. It's allowed me to put myself first again. So let's chat about it.

Tuesday I offically released my novella, Change of Flight. And if you reached the end of the ebook, you might have noticed a fun detail, which was the fact that I reveal the title of the first novel in the Flying in Love series: Sparks in Iceland!
This book has truly been a passion project of mine. It's one of my favorite stories inspired by one of my favorite places in the world (Iceland). Combine that with a fun, lighthearted love story where you want to shout at the characters "Come on, admit you have feelings for each other already!" and the result is my favorite book I've ever written.
I'm currently working on designing a beautiful and personal special edition of the book (hardcover, annotated, images from Iceland) and I'm so excited to share it with you all.
