Mandi is the owner of Stone Ridge Books, a company that works to help authors bring their books to life through cover design and book formatting. She is also the creator of The Book Launch Planner, a planner designed to help authors publish and market their books. How deluxe should I make my deluxe hardcovers???
I'm deep in the trenches of planning my next Kickstarter, and part of what I'm struggling with right now is deciding what the special editions of the books will look like. Part of me wants to do the same style of special editions as previously, but the other part of me wants to change things a little to make printing costs more affordable. For example, for the deluxe hardcovers, do I remove the color printing to save costs? Or is color printing something you really care about? What about the gorgeous endpapers we did for Sparks in Iceland? Was it just me that loved those, or are you guys as obsessed with it as I am?

Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing has made a couple of changes since I last made an uploading tutorial, so I figured it was time to do a new tutorial for KDP.
