Motor City Explorer

"Life is a journey, not a destination." - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

This channel used to be The Great Outdoors but that had too many other unrelated references. Motor City Explorer better reflects my life. Detroit has long been my favorite city to hang out in. Anyone with a negative view, in my opinion, doesn't know the city or people. I've lived, worked and gone to school there. I've travelled a lot around the country and world as a child and hope to get back to that in the coming years as well. So much to see and do.

I've been blessed with a great life and enjoy very diverse activities. Maybe we'll run into each other on our respective journeys. Peace and happy trails ✌️

Motor City Explorer

Helluva weekend of concerts. Tribute bands to J Geils and REO Speedwagon and an original blues artist Coco Montoya. 81 year old Jim McCarty smashed the night with awesome guitar work.
