This channel used to be The Great Outdoors but that had too many other unrelated references. Motor City Explorer better reflects my life. Detroit has long been my favorite city to hang out in. Anyone with a negative view, in my opinion, doesn't know the city or people. I've lived, worked and gone to school there. I've travelled a lot around the country and world as a child and hope to get back to that in the coming years as well. So much to see and do.
I've been blessed with a great life and enjoy very diverse activities. Maybe we'll run into each other on our respective journeys. Peace and happy trails ✌️

9/27/26. Just saw the new Brad Pitt movie Heart of the Beast. Beautiful scenery and obviously very touching movie about the mutual love of a man and his dog.

9/26/26 BIking Gordie Howe International Bridge and Historic Fort Wayne. Beautiful day! All the other visitors were super nice as was customs and security. Plenty of parking right in front of the entrance on the street. Also parking across the street at Historic Fort Wayne. Visitors seemed to be an older crowd - 40-70s. Watch out for some folks not playing attention while walking and biking. Good time.

Going to the University of Michigan football game tomorrow 9/18/26. Probably going be a rainy one. 107,601 official seating capacity. Largest Crowd: 115,109 (set on September 7, 2013, against Notre Dame).Ranking: The largest stadium in college football, the United States, and the Western Hemisphere.

Pictures here do zero justice to the experience.
This COSM venue was better than being at the stadium. Sounds nuts but i stand by it at least for me.
Spacious luxury seating, great menu and reasonable prices. Incredible service at your seat, better views of field ... many floors with bars, huge screens for lower admission price than were i was at in The Dome.
General admission is like $11-17. Dome tickets are the way to go though. Unpopular games high in Dome $22-$27. Lower is what you want and run $99 for less popular games. You'll pay a pretty penny for Lions games like this or U of M..
It's a total trip. You can barely tell were the people inside where you are at end and the live people in the stadium begin. A sensory experience you really have to be there to get.
I do wish the DJ playing during game commercials woild turn it down a bit.
