Teens are wired differently when it comes to their sleep patterns. Unlike younger kids or adults, their bodies don’t start winding down until around 11 p.m.; yet they still need at least eight hours of rest to stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn. That means the natural wake-up time for teens should be closer to 7 a.m., but most schools start before 8 a.m., forcing them to run on too little sleep. Later school start times aren’t just convenient, they’re essential for student health and academic success.
Please add your name to the petition and help us give teens the rest they need.
Today, on Juneteenth, we honor the end of slavery in this country and celebrate the unbreakable spirit of Black people.
Freedom is not just a moment in history — it’s a promise we must keep fighting for.
Happy Pride Month! 🌈 This month, we celebrate love, identity, and the courage to live authentically. Let’s honor the progress made and keep pushing for equality, inclusion, and justice for all.
