On Thursday, June 15, we held the first #DowntownActionPlan public meeting in the beautiful Conrad Washington, DC in #DowntownDC. The room was packed with big ideas and powerful perspectives on how we all contribute to this once-in-a-generation plan. Mayor Muriel Bowser posed an inspirational charge for us all to be a part of D.C.'s comeback and thoughtful remarks were shared from Ward 2 Councilmember Brooke Pinto, DowntownDC BID President and CEO Gerren Price, Golden Triangle Business Improvement District President and CEO Leona Agouridis, Interim Deputy Mayor Keith Anderson (Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development), Andrew Trueblood, Justice and Sustainability Associates, LLC, and RCLCO Real Estate Consulting.

It's time to reimagine #DowntownDC. On Wednesday, May 23, we launched the Downtown Action Plan in collaboration with @DCMayorsOffice20004, @goldentrianglebid7886, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, and @federalcitycouncil3730. Downtown is for all of us, and this once-in-a-century project requires the vision of our local community and national entities to chart a path that makes this future a reality.
