Anger always clouds your judgment, makes you unable to see things clearly. If you're expected, provoked, and encouraged to be angry for the sake of any political cause, know that once you gain freedom from anger and clarity of thinking, you'll see that that cause is a wrongful one.
If you want to be involved with politics, remember that you can always approach issues with no anger, only with compassion and understanding.

One of the most messed up things about armed conflict from cultural perspective is how easily people get "into" it. When they hear that there's some conflict going on, the initial reaction is fear and disturbance, but once they come across the nationalistic aspects of it - "fighting for freedom/rights/country/etc" - they easily buy into it, like there is little to no thought process going on in regards to it.
Even when the narrative of fighting for freedom/peace is clearly fallacious and outright wrong, people still buy into it. There's no freedom people are attaining, and the "fighting for peace" part is plain absurd. If you wanted peace, you'd choose diplomacy, but all you do is have people killed on your behalf. A diplomatic resolution of conflict would save way more lives than the continuation of the killing.

Sometimes i take a pause and appreciate all the technology that's so easily available. Information is so wondrously accessible, literally takes less than a minute to discover a short fact you're curious about. People didn't use to have this extent of free access to information even as little as 20 years ago. There was internet, but it was nowhere near as convenient, rich, and widespread as it is today. Such a massive gift and blessing.

Just a reminder (or a novel discovery, if you didn't know): eating healthy makes you feel good, and not just temporarily: you constantly feel good if you're eating properly (healthy, nutrient-dense food) for as long as you maintain healthy eating habits.
A proper diet provides all the nutrients you need and thus boosts your immune system, improves your cognitive abilities, makes your body more resilient to disease, and more.

In less than 20 years from now, people will be looking at the present time as "the good old days" 👍

Most people embrace armed conflict, by the way. In case you didn't know. They just pick a side and gleefully promote the killing of human beings. People unite into opposing groups and hurl bombs at each other while the rest of the world watches and cheers for who they think are "the good guys" (neither of them are)

I HAVE ENDURED SO MANY THINGS THAT MADE ME FEAR FOR MY LIFE THAT I BECAME INCAPABLE OF ENGAGING IN COHESIVE LOGICAL THOUGHT WITHOUT ALLOWING MY MENTAL OCCURRENCES TO BECOME OVERLY APPREHENSIVE

The show Invincible got me thinking about the value of life. How humans perceive animals, especially those who are killed to be eaten. Cows, pigs, chickens, etc. Humans overtly and depravedly celebrate killing these animals and derive satisfaction and enjoyment from that.

Perhaps it's a bit hypocritical of me to think that, considering i'm not a vegetarian and do eat meat, albeit solely because of financial limitations.

Humans exhibit depraved behavior towards every living thing they consider insignificant, but also towards those who they believe deserve to be killed. Insects are one example: humans celebrate killing insects and small animals if they're not cute.
If it's commonly accepted to kill certain animals (cows, pigs, etc), introducing new animals and creatures to be killed (cats, dogs, birds, etc) is considered warped and immoral (which it in truth is).

Many people eat meat just because "it's been that way", just because humans already ate meat for a long time. You don't need meat to be healthy, energized, and resilient to disease, you just need to pick an adequate nutrition plan (with vegetarianism, it doesn't even entail consuming supplements).

Human beings celebrate killing every chance they get. They derive satisfaction from it. Killing insects, farm animals, and other humans of course. During armed conflict, for wicked, amoral, and depraved reasons, human beings lose sight of the value of human life and become deceived, led to believe that victory is at all an appropriate aspiration. They are led to believe that killing humans is appropriate and should bring satisfaction.

So they celebrate the killings of human beings, both military and peaceful people alike. They demonize the opposing country's military, portraying them as rapists, killers, oppressors, and so on. While portraying their own military as heroic and brave fighters who are just defending innocent people from so-called evil. Ukrainians think like that, Russians think like that.

They demonize innocent and peaceful people by seeking out the most immoral individuals and painting the picture that all of the opposing country's population holds depraved views and deserves to be killed. I see many examples of this: Russians demonizing Ukrainians, calling them nazis (because it's commonly accepted to kill nazis). Ukrainians demonizing Russians, calling them terrorists (because it's commonly accepted to kill terrorists). But both of them are the same thing in terms of media-propelled narratives.

Then, once the media successfully creates the idea of an enemy and demonizes that perceived enemy, the general population turns angry and eager to see their "evil enemy" be killed.

Most people don't want an armed conflict to occur, most people eagerly celebrate the occurrence of armed conflict. Most people think of themselves as decent human beings, most people dismiss the value of human life under the influence of dangerous narratives.

Pride always stands in the way of peace. When people are prideful, they are much more likely to flare up a conflict on an interpersonal or even an international level. Anger and pride cloud people's minds so much and ruin relationships between people and nations.

If someone genuinely strives to cultivate peace in their life, they have to let go of pride and anger, and become more understanding towards those they're angry at. Saying that you want peace is one thing, acting in ways that genuinely bring about peace is another.
