Hey there, future Aussies! 🙌🏼
One of the top questions I get, right after “Do I need to know English?” is: “Can I move to Australia if I don’t have a skilled occupation?” 🤔

There could be a few reasons for this: maybe your occupation isn’t on the skilled occupation list, maybe it’s hard and too expensive to get your skills assessment, or perhaps you don’t have formal qualifications at all. Let me know in the comments if I missed any other reasons! 💬

So, what are the options for these candidates?
There are a few ways around this situation:

⓵ If possible, you could come to Australia on a student visa 🎓 and gain qualifications in a high-demand field or get the extra training needed for licensing/skilled assessment.

⓶ You can also gain new qualifications or work experience in a demand field over the next few years, which could open doors for skilled migration.

⓷ Another path might be to find a partner ❤️ with the skills qualified to migrate to Australia.

⓸ Or, you may consider finding a partner in Australia – this could make your occupation not important anymore.

⓹ Finally, if you have children, you could support them in studying an in-demand field overseas or in Australia. Once they gain PR, they could sponsor you through a parent visa. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Which of these options sounds the most achievable? Drop your thoughts in the comments – I’m looking forward to hearing from you! 👇

Today, I’m thrilled to share one inspiring migration journey with you! ✨ While this case may not have been the most straightforward, it’s a true testament to resilience. I hope it motivates you to keep going, even when the path is tough. 💪

This story began during the pandemic when Australian borders were closed. 😷 Our client reached out, seeking guidance as a future student. We successfully secured a spot for them in a packaged course – two months of English followed by a course in Master of Project Management. 🎓

We arranged for their two children to attend school, obtained visas for the entire family, and then began the wait for Australia’s borders to reopen. 🇦🇺 In December 2021, the government announced that fully vaccinated students could finally enter.

As you may know, finding a job as a student in Australia can be challenging. The impact of international sanctions on Russia didn’t improve the situation for our new migrants. 🌐

Over the next two years, we worked closely with the client to explore all possible avenues, crafting multiple strategies to strengthen their position in the country. Finally, in 2024, the main applicant found an employer willing to sponsor him for a temporary visa SC482. So the significant next step for having permanent residency should be awaited in just two years. 🔜

It seemed like everything was finally sorted… but there was still one unexpected twist. 🚀 Let’s dive into the rest of the story!

🌏 This post is for those of you who have reached your migration goal and proudly hold an Australian Permanent Resident (PR) visa. If you haven’t yet taken the step to acquire Australian citizenship and a passport – or don’t plan to – this article is especially for you.

We’ve previously explored the Resident Return Visa (RRV) in a detailed article, which you can find on my website under Blog section in Basic Information. Today’s post is a quick reminder of the importance of staying on top of your visa status to ensure smooth traveling. 🧭

The Australian Department of Home Affairs strongly encourages all permanent residents to double-check their visa status before heading overseas, to avoid any unexpected hiccups when returning home. ❗️

Remember, your PR visa has an expiry date – typically 5 years. If it expires and you no longer have automatic re-entry rights, you’ll need to secure a Resident Return Visa ☝🏻 before you come back to Australia.

You can check your visa details using the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) service – it’s the easiest and free way to confirm your status anytime! ✅

Keep in mind that applying for an RRV, verifying visa conditions, or updating your passport details (if you’ve recently renewed it) can take some time, from a few days to a few weeks. ➜

Be proactive, and don’t leave these essential steps until the last minute. Or, if you prefer, reach out to Yulia Moiseeva & Associates for professional support! 🚀 We’re here to make the process stress-free and time-efficient. With us by your side, you can rest assured that your visa matters are well taken care of! 🌟

Hi everyone! ☀️

We always talk about how incredible Australia is – sunny, vibrant, full of opportunities, and an amazing place to call home. But, like every story, this one has a flip side… 🪙

Just a few people hear about the disappointments that can come with moving to Australia. 💔 But these stories are real – I’ve seen countless visa and migration cases pass through my hands, mind, and heart. 🤯 Over the past couple of years, at least three successful visa cases turned into shattered dreams for my clients.

Imagine spending months on paperwork, struggling and waiting for visa outcome, and investing thousands of dollars in exams, fees, and education. Then, with the visa finally on hand, there’s the thrill of a new life, a fresh start. But after moving, once the first six months of excitement fades, something changes. 😓

☝🏻 Many of those who leave Australia “early” had already been here as tourists. They absolutely loved it and decided to move here forever. So, what went wrong? 🤔

They said Australia became foreign, “not like home”.🫥 Each person had their own reasons, of course, but not everyone was transparent with me. The feeling that “this is not working” was stronger than the logic and opportunity of living in one of the best countries in the world. 😬 For them, Australia is no longer at the top of the world-wide rating, that’s for sure.

When my clients made the decision to leave, I supported them. After all, what’s more important than the sense of comfort and belonging? They sold everything they had and left the country that was supposed to become their new home. 🛫

Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong in a new place?
And if you’re in Australia right now, have you ever thought about leaving it all behind and going back “home”?

Let’s reflect on that together. I’ll start 👉🏻

I chose Australia and the Gold Coast based on pictures from the internet.😅 I had never been here before, and honestly, I hadn’t even dreamed of it. But Australia immediately became my home – here, I gave birth to my three wonderful children, met the love of my life, found my calling, and now I help thousands of people every year.💛

Have I ever thought about going back home? No! 🙅🏻‍♀️

No matter how hard it’s been, I never gave up. Australia helped me find myself, and now I help others find their way here. 💪🏻

Share your stories in the comments, friends! 🫶🏻

On 1 October 2024, a pre-application process (visa ballot) commenced under the Working Holiday Maker (WHM) program❗️

Visa ballot registrations opened for the following high-demand Work and Holiday (subclass 462) countries:
🇨🇳 China
🇮🇳 India
🇻🇳 Vietnam

Visa ballots provide an equitable, streamlined, and transparent way to randomly select first Work and Holiday applicants from partner countries where demand exceeds the number of places available in a program year. 🌏

How does it work:

▸ The DOHA will conduct random selections of registrations over the program year 2024-25.
▸ It will notify those randomly selected by email and instruct them to apply for a first Work and Holiday visa online.
▸ If applicant is selected, the period to apply for a first Work and Holiday visa for all countries this program year will be within 28 calendar days after DOHA notification.
▸ Applicants will need to meet all the standard eligibility requirements of the subclass 462 visa to be granted entry into Australia.

To learn more about the Work and Holiday visa ballots, including registration and selection periods, refer to the dedicated article on our website 👉🏻 yuliamoiseeva.com.au/

We all know that lying is wrong. It’s one of those universal truths, right? Even kids get it. And visa officers, who review cases and make decisions, definitely do too. 😑

Today’s story is about how a few fake months of living together ended up costing over $9,000 and added two extra years of waiting. Curious yet? 👀

As you may guess, this story is about a partner visa. This kind of applications, along with all the relationship evidence, go under a microscope in DOHA. A lot of people think, “Who’s going to find out?” But believe me, the Department has its ways…

👉🏻 So, here’s what went down with our clients. ⛱️ They met on vacation in a third country, kept in touch for a while, and in 2023, the applicant even visited their new love in Australia. Actually, it was our first visa case together ✅

After that trip, they decided to apply for a partner visa and came back to us, saying they loved our transparent processes, clear guidance, and attention to detail (thanks, guys!). While putting together their documents and crafting their love story, they decided to make it a little more compelling by adding “just a few extra months” of living together. 😱

🚨 The truth came out six months later when the officer sent a “natural justice” letter, asking them to explain some discrepancies between their written story and the facts received in a phone interview. 🫨 That’s when they had to come clean and tell me all the true. We immediately withdrew the application to avoid a refusal and started building a new strategy – this time, with honesty and authenticity at the heart of it...

Now, the applicant is heading back to Australia on a Visitor visa to gather more evidence for resubmitting the application. But this time, they’re doing it the right way, with a truthful story ❣️

So, here’s a question to discuss in the comments guys! Is it really worth the risk to embellish the truth in hopes of a quicker success? Or is it better to stick to the honest path, even if it’s more challenging and takes longer? 🤔

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and Statistics New Zealand (Stats NZ) have announced that while maintaining comparability, each country will introduce their own tailored occupational statistical classifications. 🌏

For Australia, the new classification will be called the Occupation Standard Classification for Australia (OSCA). Version 1.0 will be released on Friday 6 December 2024. 📋

The drivers for change are the following:

➜ The difference between Australia’s and New Zealand’s labour markets is greater than when a joint classification began in 2006.
➜ Stats NZ has been unable to participate in the targeted 2021 and 2022 Australian updates and the comprehensive review of the classification undertaken by the ABS over the past four years.
➜ Countries have identified different solutions to meet stakeholder demand.

At the moment we don’t know how these changes will impact the occupation lists for the entire Australian skilled migration stream, or how new classification will affect the selecting the occupation and skills assessment processes. 🤔

We’ll definitely provide you with more clear and transparent instructions in the future! Stay tuned! 📢
