Drum Talk TV is a HUGE online drumming community that reaches millions of people a month. People from over 130 countries have engaged with us and each other, and are part of what we do. We have original Interviews with Legends, Today’s Stars, Educators, Hidden Gems, and Makers of Gear!


Dan began all this by starting Dan’s Drum Clinics, with the idea that “Not all lessons are learned at a practice pad or behind a drum set. Lessons can be learned through the sharing of experiences of other artists and educators, and their unique perspectives on those experiences. We all have a journey and we can learn from each other, no matter at what level those stories come from.”


Dan set out to do a few interviews with fellow educators in the last quarter of 2012. In December of 2012, he interviewed the first pro artist guest for what is now known as, “Drum Talk TV.” That artist was Glen Sobel. By January 7, 2013, he had officially registered the business Drum Talk TV and left Dan’s Drum Clinics behind.
Later that month, he covered the 2013 Winter NAMM Show, interviewing artists such as Tommy Aldridge, Nicko McBrain, Gavin Harrison, , and many more, along with dozens of makers of great gear. He has interviewed a lot more artists since then, and there have even been repeats!


We cover and have covered events such as the Winter NAMM Show, the Bonzo Bash, Billy Cobham's Art of the Rhythm Section Retreat, Breast Cancer Can Stick It!, The Singapore Drum Fest Drum-Off Global and Ultimate Drummers Weekend, Taiko Festivals in Japan, and many more special features.
