I’m losing subscribers about as fast as I gain them — and I get it. There’s not a lot of overlap between political satire, social commentary, and heartfelt, contemplative music.
If you’ve grown up listening to artists who “stick it to the man,” it can be hard to realise — they were the man. Most artists are naturally high in empathy and trait openness — that’s what makes them creative.
I’m both high in openness and conscientiousness — it’s obvious in my satire, maybe less so in my lyrics.
So, while I separate my content — satire on one channel, music on another — thanks for bearing with me.
