the GM witch - Invidious

October is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to do a world building challenge during the month called #worldtober23, for anyone who wants to join the idea is simply to create 31 world building elements/ideas that you can use in your games and share them on your preferred platform using the hashtag #worldtober23 during the month of October. I plan on doing doodles for each idea BUT you don't have to if thats not your thing.

Building, NPC's, Monsters, Items, Maps, Gods, Cities, etc. You can work on whatever world building elements you want.

I dont really expect anyone to join since I decided to do this so last minute but if you do I would love to see/hear what you come up with. I will probably be posting updates on twitter/bluesky and Instagram @theGMwitch on all. I might focus on a small town since I need more of those in my world but I also might jump around depending on how I feel during the month. I also plan on doing one thing a day but technically you dont have to if that doesn't work for you.

If you're planning on joining OR doing another challenge in October I would love to hear about it!

I am so excited for the second and final one for the Re-launch in less than 30 minutes! I really enjoy doing random adventure building videos so I wanted my first real video back to be just that.

The countdown Begins! So excited for the channel relaunch, the first video of the day is a quick chatty update one for those of you interested in a little behind the scenes info, and then a couple hours later I've got a fun adventure building video.

If you missed it, I set up a new channel trailer to promote the relaunch this Tuesday! Super happy with how it turned out and can't wait until Tuesday is here so I can finally settle my nerves! lol! I just went through and responded to ALL of the comments that I had not responded to yet, and it feels really good to be all caught up just in time for the official relaunch in a couple days. Although I will admit that I do feel a bit bad/awkward for all of the people getting responses 6 months to 2 years after they left the original comments while I was still on hiatus. 😅😅

Anyway, thanks so much to everyone who has been so supportive and who takes the time to watch my videos and leave comments and just be awesome! You are amazing! ✨

It's official! the GM witch will be posting videos again starting September 2023, which is only a couple weeks away!

I'm super excited about this and have been working non-stop on some exciting new stuff. We'll start off with a chill "whats been going on" video and then jump right into all the good stuff! So stay tuned.

I have really missed making content and am so excited to be back at it! Thanks for all the love, support and patience during my Hiatus! Get ready for a lot more of me moving forward!

Well hello there!

It has been awhile since the channel merge and the Hiatus of theGMwitch + all TTRPG hobby stuff in general. I'm technically still on Hiatus butttttttt I am working on hopping back to the channel to start creating TTRPG videos here again soon. I'm running a 5e game for my little brothers and have been printing and painting minis so I have a lot of fun ideas for videos and a lot of cool stuff I want to share! I have really really missed this and all of you guys in general! Thanks to everyone who stuck with me on my other channel while I was on break from this one.

I'm tentatively thinking of relaunching in September as a birthday gift for myself (which is fitting because my first big game as a GM was done on my birthday as well, yay!). But I'm trying to be a little flexible since I dont want to burn myself out. I hope everyone has been doing well and I look forward to chatting and re-joining the community! I've wanted to come back many times over this hiatus but was afraid of jumping into it too soon and burning myself out. Life has settle a lot since my move and all the big changes that has happened and I think its finally safe. Thanks for your patiences and for just being a super awesome community!
