Not only do they hold ranks in the army, but companies like Meta, Open Ai, Palantir, Amazon etc are helping decide who gets drone striked next…

SpaceX, Elon Musk's company that manufactures reusable rockets and provides satellite internet, is reportedly raising $750 million in a new funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (also known as a16z) which values the company at $137 billion. SpaceX has raised more than $2 billion in 2022, including a $250 million round in July, and was valued at $127 billion during an equity round in May. The company has had several notable milestones including reaching more than 1 million subscribers for its satellite internet service, Starlink and surpassed 60 reusable rocket launches in a single year through its Falcon program. They are currently continuing development of its Starship and Super Heavy launch vehicles at their Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas. NASA is now considering whether SpaceX can help rescue residents on the International Space Station, following a coolant leak in December on the Russia's Soyuz capsule.
