Join the Whiskey Crusaders on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 7pm for a Sixth Street Spirits Masterclass and Dinner with Vice President & General Manager David Stedman out Giddings, Texas. Started in 2012 by Michael Leidel to become one of the first craft distilleries in central Texas. They source aged MGP distillate and then finish for several years to a few months in Texas with their own stock is aging up. Plus, they bottle in handle blown guitar shaped bottles. We will also be getting a bonus mini masterclass from Tahwahkaro Distillery in Palestine, TX which distills all their own products in house. This class is suitable for all levels of whisky experience from beginner to advanced.

This is a very special evening with world-renowned bagpiper Jimmy Mitchell playing the opening and closing ceremonies, professional actors reading the traditional poetry for Burns Night and of course traditional Scottish food will be served. Burns Night is to celebrate the life and legacy of Scotland’s National Bard. We will be comparing Five Johnnie Walker Blended Scotches to their base single malt scotches counter-part during the evening. Kilts or other Scottish attire are encouraged for the evening if you have some but certainly not required. This class is suitable for all levels of whisky experience from beginner to advanced.
