The Graduate Program in Law at UFSM has an area of concentration in “Emerging Rights in the Global Society” and two lines of research: 1) Rights of socio-biodiversity: development and dimensions of sustainability; 2) Rights in the network society: actors, factors and processes in globalization.
The central objective of the area of concentration on screen is to enable legal communications capable of assisting in the decision-making processes of a global information society, considering not only its complexities and risks, but also taking into account the local dimension, whether in sociocultural or availability of natural resources.
