Official poster reveal for 'Nosebleed', our 2026 submission to TAKE48. Designed as always by the endlessly talented Jovian Ubukata, Jovian has made an incredibly nasty poster to match our most graphic film yet!
As a reminder, 'Nosebleed' will be screening next Saturday, 12 September at 3pm alongside the other chosen TAKE48 submissions as part of Sydney Underground Film Festival.

Video Nasty
Every year we participate in TAKE48, a film challenge where teams must write, shoot and edit a 3-minute short film all within 48 hours. This year, 70 films were submitted. From those 70, 40 films were chosen to be screened as part of Sydney Underground Film Festival. From those 40, 20 films were chosen as finalists.
We are very excited to announce our submission, "Nosebleed", has been chosen as a finalist for TAKE48 2026! This means our film will be in the running for a number of awards from the judges, as well as the Audience Favourite Award which we won back in 2022 for "The Show Must Go On".
If you'd like to see the film alongside the other submissions and vote for us in the Audience Favourite Award, the session details are:

We are incredibly proud to announce that #franzshortfilm has won the award for "BEST HORROR FILM" at Newcastle International Short Film Festival 2024!
This is our first win for 'Franz' and we couldn't be happier. We previously attended this festival in 2022, where we also took home "Best Australian Horror Film" for #archiebald. We are now very close to the release of 'Franz', and cannot wait to share it with you!

The #franzshortfilm festival run continues! 'Franz' has been officially selected to play at Newcastle Underground Film Festival 2024.
For long time viewers, you may remember that NiSFF is where we premiered 'Archie, Bald' two years ago, the first film we ever made! It's quite the full circle moment for us, and we are very excited to be returning to the place where it all began.
