Genesis 15:16 says, “After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.”
In this moment, God was not guessing about the future, He was declaring it. Four generations before it even happened, God spoke the outcome. And exactly as He said, it came to pass.
What if God has already spoken the outcome over your marriage too?
Why worry about the weekends, the spring break, the summer vacation, the birthdays, or the holidays when your spouse isn’t there? God already knows how the story ends. The same God who declared the return after four generations also knows the exact moment your restoration will unfold.
Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
In the spirit, your restoration is already established. Now you are simply walking the path that leads you to it. Just like you must walk through January, February, March, April, May, and June before you arrive at summer holiday, the promise is already ahead of you, you just have to keep walking.
Don’t stop. Don’t turn around.Don’t lose hope.
You may be closer than you think. Keep walking! you might already be almost there.

So are we really saying that hearts don’t belong to the Lord—that He can’t turn them wherever He chooses? If Scripture says He turns the hearts of fathers back to their children, what makes anyone think He cannot turn a husband’s heart back to his wife and family? Is that somehow harder for God? Is marriage restoration beyond His reach?
Come on now.
The same Lord who turns the hearts of fathers to their children is the same God we worship today. He has not changed. If He can restore hearts within families, He can restore hearts within covenant. There is nothing too hard for Him—especially when it comes to what He Himself created and joined together.
Can I get an Amen? 🙏
