Naivedyam Thali!
Naivedyam Thali is a Vegetarian platter offered to the Gods in Hinduism. This Thali was made for Lord Ganesh. I lined the plate with a banana leaf. From childhood I have seen my mother and grandmother lining the plate with banana leafs or serving food directly on a leaf. I was told "when hot food is served on a banana leaf, the nutrients from banana leaf gets added to the food which makes the food healthier".
Here I made-
*Ukadiche Modak (rice dumplings filled with coconut and jaggery)
*Puri (fried bread)
*Vatanyachi Usal (Sauted Peas)
*Batatyacha Rassa (potato curry)
*Aamti (lentil soup)
*lime wedge
*Coconut chutney
*Tomato Koshimbir (tomato salad)
*Bhaji (fritters)
*Papad (fried crackers)
*Varan bhat (rice with lentil)
*Dahi bhat (rice with yogurt).
