than grow fast with something generic.

This year didn’t look the way my past years did — I wasn’t booked out nonstop as I used to. And at first, that felt uncomfortable.

But slowly, I realized I wasn’t losing momentum. I was changing direction.

I worked on fewer projects, but they were bigger, more meaningful, and more aligned. I earned a steady income while working from home, traveling for select projects, and managing my time in a way that lets me be present for my family.

I didn’t chase brand deals. I focused on building my own indie brand, slowly and organically, through education and trust. No big ad budgets, no shortcuts — just showing up, teaching, helping.

I’m sharing this, because I know someone else might be in a quieter season too — wondering if they’re falling behind.

Maybe you’re just building differently. 😉

Turning 35 today ✨
I still can’t get over my birthday two years ago — I just booked a flight to Minnesota, and when I landed, everything was already perfectly organized by my friends.

(Can’t post the video here of that legendary birthday in MN in 2023 here in a carousel (so you better know me as a person in real life 🥰😁) but come hang out with me on Instagram @flawless_byvera— I post stories and daily life updates all the time. )

Everyone came together so I could just arrive and live my best life. That kind of love stays with you forever. 🫶🏻

And this year… life gave me another dream moment. A very dear person to my heart gifted me a getaway to New York a month before my birthday.

I’ve been dreaming of this exact moment — sipping my very first espresso martini on a weekday at 3 PM in Manhattan.
While the city moved fast around me, I just sat there, breathed, and felt so deeply grateful.

I feel loved. I feel happy. I have my own brand, I do what I love, and I’m surrounded by the most incredible people — clients who’ve become friends, friends who feel like family.

Tomorrow is @pinzari.makeup birthday — my Moldovan soul twin in California, born just a day apart. This year she’s in the mood to celebrate it loud, so I’m saving all my energy to bring it to her party tomorrow 🪩✨

But tonight, after traveling every single month this year — and with that dreamy New York birthday getaway still feeling unreal — I just want a quiet evening with my family, eating my favorite Kievski tort 🍰, my once-a-year guilty pleasure.

35 feels warm. Full. Grateful. A kind of happiness I want to hold onto forever. 🤍✨

May — Began the season in Minnesota for bridal glam. Also had the honor of working as a Makeup Artist for a Fashion Show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and for the LA Fashion Week Gala — artistry on creative and cultural stages.

June — A month for balance: family time and two dream concerts, Metallica and The Weeknd. I’m intentional about keeping life milestones and priorities in focus, so I can give my very best when I return to work.

July — Traveled to Detroit for a beautiful bride, bringing her vision to life on her most important day.

August — In Las Vegas for Mrs. America 👑, creating multiple looks a day for national-level pageantry.

September — Heading to New York for Fashion Week ✨, where artistry meets runway.

October — Booked in Chicago for a bride’s special day.

November — Off to Napa, creating timeless bridal beauty in wine country.

April (2026) — Returning to San Diego for another bride’s unforgettable day.

Summer 2026 — Invited to glam celebrities for the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet 🌟 (dates TBA).
