Getting back to work on Freddy’s this evening and I’m going to be posting a lot of my work on my Patreon as i progress.
A fun fact about Freddy’s, to get in the right mindset of the type of movie I was trying to make, I workshopped the story as a rhyming children’s poem before I wrote the script, and I actually ended up illustrating said poem and having it printed as a gift for my little brother.
I came across a couple copies of the book tonight and I thought it was a shame for them to just sit on the shelf, so I’m gonna give some away.
Whoever joins my Patreon over the next week, I’ll throw your name in a hat and draw for winners.
And as an added bonus, I’m throwing the PDF file of the book onto my Patreon as well, so even if you don’t win a physical copy, you can still check out the digital one.
After this project, I plan to pursue more original content. I’ve got an idea I’m proud of and am really excited to get to it. But I want to finish Freddy’s like I promised, so that you guys can actually enjoy it instead of it just sitting on a harddrive for the rest of my life.
Hopefully I’ll have more to share soon, and I plan to stay consistent with throwing up test renders and BTS content on my Patreon, so if you’re really interested in this project, join me there.
Hey guys! I have a few shorts showing at Silverlake Shorts this Friday! if you're in the Los Angeles area, stop by the El Cid in Silverlake to catch my stuff, as well as shorts from other awesome artists!
Hey Guys, recently started a second channel. My plan is for this to be BTS and more unpolished/experimental work, so that my main channel has a uniform standard for the type and quality of content.
First video is a "making of" video for Springtrapped, which was originally posted to my patreon. I'll probably post most of my BTS to patreon a bit before i upload to my public channel, still figuring out that pipeline.
In the meantime, Go subscribe and check out how I made Springtrapped!
Hey guys. It's been a minute. After about a year of planning a wedding, I got married last month. With that milestone out of the way, I'm hoping to get back to work and be able to post some animations soon, if not hopefully finishing up Freddy's for you all to see! In the meantime, here's a concept painting I did of Freddy a while back.
I’ve been trying to challenge myself to adapt characters that I find visually interesting into puppets, just for practice, and in the process I’ve been recording myself as I model, and will hopefully have some more tutorial/blender based content of some sort soon.
First up is joker, along with some of my concept sketches!
Happy one year to “Scooby Doo, Where are You? In… Springtrapped!”
I’m so grateful to all of you for your support of my work! I already feel like I have grown and improved both stylistically and technically, and I wouldn’t have done that without all of the support and excitement for my projects.
These videos were originally only intended as silly little portfolio pieces, but I’ve been blessed enough for them to have found an audience to share them with, and for that I’m very thankful.
Now, back to work on Freddy’s! Can’t wait to share it with you all soon!
