The Top Women in Security ASEAN Region awards follow similar initiatives in India, as well as Africa, Europe and Canada and form part of a global campaign by the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA). This initiative is open to all ASEAN countries following very successful Top Women in Security Awards held during 2020 in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines.

We have gathered unique industry partnership arrangements, bringing together key chapters of premier, global security industry associations and professional women in security groups in Singapore. Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and including the ASEAN Region Women in Security Network.

Nominees must be women with more than three years of experience in the security industry, be that in cybersecurity, electronics, physical, protective and management roles. Self-nominations are welcome.

We thank them for their support.

The awards will take place and Top 30 Winners announced at a live, virtual event at 5:00pm SGT, Tuesday 31 August 2021.

The inaugural Top Women in Security in Malaysia initiative was established to recognize women who have advanced the Malaysian security industry.

The Top 10 Winners are to be announced and recognized during this live virtual awards ceremony.

In a unique industry partnership arrangement, the Top Women in Security in Malaysia awards, part of a global campaign by the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA), bring together Malaysian Women in Security (MYWiS) and Malaysia Chapters of premier, global security industry associations, ISACA Malaysia Chapter and ASIS International Malaysia Chapter.

The awards are co-organised with MySecurity Media, a regional security industry publisher, including ASEANtechsec.com and Asia Pacific Security Magazine.
