It was recently discovered that the STAR OF PEACE experienced a data breach at or near the time of firing, and the blueprints for it may have been compromised.
The DEMOCRACY SPACE STATION [DSS], on which the STAR OF PEACE is installed, has been placed into lockdown on AFOYAY BAY, with its crew members and PANDORA BASE workers facing interrogation.
However, as if the situation wasn't dire enough, new intel has also indicated an imminent Illuminate attack on AFOYAY BAY.
As such, High Command has no choice but to evacuate personnel from AFOYAY BAY and has tasked the Helldivers with clearing the evacuation path through the following measures:
- LIBERATE VALMOX
- LIBERATE MYRIUM
- HOLD AFOYAY BAY

The issue with the Redacted Regiment Warbond has been resolved, and a patch will be dropped this coming Thursday, as mentioned by Baskinator:

We were able to resolve the issue with Redacted Regiment and it will soon be available for release! We will have a patch incoming Thursday 22nd January at 11AM CET (18:00) with Redacted Regiment going live at 2PM CET (21:00) also on the 22nd.

The STAR OF PEACE has successfully conducted its firing on the Automaton-controlled planet, PENTA, collapsing it into a conventional black hole and destroying all enemy forces present on the planet.
This experimental weapon, however, has caused the DEMOCRACY SPACE STATION [DSS] to sustain damage during the firing process, resulting in extensive repairs for a short period of time.
Nevertheless, this monumental success will show the enemies of SUPER EARTH just what we are capable of in the name of Liberty, Freedom, and Democracy!
In addition, do pay a visit to PENTA when you have a chance to view the conventional black hole!

The Ministry of Defense has issued a statement on the Helldivers 2 Official Twitter post as follows:

STAR OF PEACE VOTING HAS BEGUN
Helldivers are advised to access the Democracy Space Station voting panel from the Galactic Map. Helldivers may vote a single time.
If the chosen planet is not a strategically viable location at the time of firing—if no planet adjacent to the targeted planet is held by Super Earth—the second-highest voted planet will be targeted instead.

Thanks to the Helldivers' valiant defense, the Magma Planets are secured, allowing the STAR OF PEACE to be near operational readiness!
With several gigatons of platinum and iridium-infused heatsinks extracted, the STAR OF PEACE can now deploy its firing solution and deliver OPERATION FREE SPACE to Super Earth's enemies soon.
As such, the time has come to enact the final phase of OPERATION FREE SPACE!
With the STAR OF PEACE successfully augmented on the DEMOCRACY SPACE STATION [DSS], it is now ready to demonstrate the true power of Freedom!
3 potential targets have been identified. 1 per faction:
- PENTA [Automatons]
- VALMOX [Illuminate]
- ZAGON PRIME [Terminids]
As such, with the voting about to commence soon, High Command has tasked Helldivers with the following choices:
1] HOLD LESATH
2] HOLD NIVEL 43
3] HOLD AFOYAY BAY
Depending on the vote, the STAR OF PEACE will fire and pre-emptively destroy the chosen planet from the planet held in this Major Order!

A planet will be voted as a target for the Star of Peace's firing soon!
Dispatch as follows:

STAR OF PEACE VOTING IN 24 HOURS
In 24 hours, Helldivers will be given the opportunity to vote on which planet to target with the Star of Peace: Penta, Afoyay Bay, or Zagon Prime.
The Democracy Space Station will be taken offline for the duration of the voting period in preparation for firing.
