Nothing says spooky month like ghosts! 👻

For the REPO animatic I had to figure out a fun way to portray the “dead spectator” part of the game since there isn’t much going on like there was with the little tadpole ghosts in Peak. 😭 In REPO you CAN’T talk to anyone who’s still alive if you were eliminated, at least this was the case before the big update made it so you can talk through your head on a time limited battery power.

Since the cast couldn’t do that in the game when they played it last year, I just settled on designing little ghost versions of the characters that just hang out together in purgatory while still being able to watch whoever is still alive slowly go insane 💀

(I wanted to make them different than the ghost designs from Peak, and it ended up with Gangle looking like the most stereotypical ghost ever LMAO)

(Also here’s your reminder that I shared a new scene this past weekend on my shorts! Make sure to go check it out if you haven’t yet ❤️)

Happy 3 year anniversary of the TADC pilot!!! 🎪❤️✨

3 years since the pilot released doesn’t even sound real, like wdym it’s been that long already?? 😭 I remember watching the pilot for the first time only 2 days after it premiered because there was fanart of it suddenly blowing up all over my social media feed, I just HAD to know what the hype was all about haha

As a lil treat in honor of TADC turning 3 years old, I plan on sharing a new scene of REPO part 1 this Saturday! I’m super proud of how this animatic is turning out so far, so I’m very excited to show off a new sneak peek of it soon, so as always, make sure to keep an eye out 👀

Lil doodle from like a month ago of my oc Skye in her curse form 🌚

Skye, along with several other of my TCOP characters, has DESPERATELY needed curse form updates for years now lmao, so this is basically the very first (likely unfinished) redesign in my current art style! I definitely want to make proper references and finalized redesigns at some point whenever I get the time to do so again 💚

Just a quick little announcement that I’m closing my commissions temporarily!!! ✨

Long story short, I’ve had A LOT of work on my plate lately (including, but not limited to, the REPO animatic), and I’ve basically been in “catch up” mode so far this month without actually feeling like I’ve been catching up. So I’ve decided to close my comms for at least the rest of October so I can get to a point where I’m not juggling too many things all at once.

This comm closure doesn’t affect any active commissions that are still a WIP, those are all a part of what I’m catching up on! So if you’re waiting on a comm right now, I will be getting to it eventually 👍

I’ll make another announcement post like this once I’m ready to open my comms back up! Thank you all for your support and your patience 💜

E C L I P S E ☀️🌙

Saw a super cool split screen photo of a lunar and solar eclipse recently and IMMEDIATELY wanted to redraw it with my oc Luna using her eclipse spells! (Credit to “danieljstein” on Instagram for the original photo ✨)

For those not familiar with my wip story, “The Curse of Polaris”, Luna is a celestial guardian, an alien race of powerful magic deities basically.

While appearing small and adorable most of the time, Luna is actually an incredibly strong moon-type guardian who’s skilled in advanced healing magic and combat, and is often underestimated by anyone who’s arrogant enough. She is one of very few who has successfully mastered BOTH lunar and solar eclipse spells, two of the strongest spells a moon-type could ever wield!

Lunar eclipse is one of the most powerful restoration spells in existence, and while it’s not a forbidden spell, it is NOT recommended for regular use! It drains the users magic directly from their body (making them appear a red/orange tint while using it), turns it into restoration magic, and scatters the magic across MILES all around them, instantly healing and restoring anything within it.

On the other hand, solar eclipse is a terrifying transformation spell that grants the user EXTREME strength and agility for as long as they have the magic energy to use it! (Typically only for a few minutes, which is as long as solar eclipses tend to last irl 💛) This spell, unlike lunar eclipse, IS forbidden from using, except for only the most dire life or death circumstances, such as in self defense for example.

Also enjoy the additional little memes at the end lmao, the last one I feel really sums up those magic spells to a T 💀😭

Resharing this here to create awareness and spread the word! Long story short, Vixen has been dealing with an obsessive stalker and it’s gotten wayyy out of hand. Please watch this for her full story, it’s incredibly disturbing but I’m glad she has the courage to share this with us and reach out. Please report the creep if you can, and please stay safe online! 💜

Commission art for ‪@burnsiestudios739‬ newest YouTube video “What if the adventures were reversed?” 👀✨

These “what if” scenarios are always so fun to explore when it comes to the TADC universe, like especially with the way the series ended, the possibilities are endless!
