You guys came through in the comments and saved us! We realized our Enies Lobby batch needs to stretch through Episode 278, but we’d only filmed to 277. 🙈

That is the price of trying to stay spoiler-free and blindly trusting a filler guide to group our episodes! 😭

We’re jumping back in front of the mic to record extra coverage for Ep 278, skipping the recap/fillers we missed, and resuming with 284–290. Combined with a quick scheduled vacation, here is our updated schedule:

Hi Sippers! 🥂

We’ve had quite a few of you join our journey recently (over 600 of you in the past 90 days!), and we are so excited to have you along for the ride. We thought now would be the perfect time to re-introduce ourselves and the channel!

We’re Jordan and Sheridan—two best friends of 19 years. We’ve been through everything together, from physics-defying side parts to the corporate 9-to-5 grind.

Our deep dive into anime first started over a shared love of Fruits Basket, which eventually grew into chatting nonstop about our favorite manga and webtoons. While we originally started as a book channel, we began experimenting to see what felt right for us. Most of you actually found us back during Season 2 of the One Piece live action!

We fell in love with it, and returning to where it all began—anime—felt like total fate.

This channel was born during a happy hour where we couldn’t stop debating our favorite media. We thought, “How lucky are we to have a best friend to talk about this with? What if we invited other people into these discussions so we can all experience and enjoy our favorite things together?”

Our channel is simply an extension of that happy hour (and many after)—a place to grab a beverage, joke around, gossip, and of course, theorize about what’s coming next.

We aren’t experts! We’re just your best friends who are finally watching that show you’ve been begging us to see and updating you every step of the way.

However or whenever you found us, we are so glad you’re here!
