I’m aware that I have been a bit quiet on my channel recently. I have recently had to come to terms with some sad news, and I am sure you can appreciate that family always comes first.
As you can see from my channel I have been doing a bit of travelling. Life is too short, and I have had many reminders of this over recent years. It was always my intention to add some travel videos in with the boating and photography videos. If you don’t like them simply don’t watch them.
This channel has always been a way of documenting what I see and do through the eyes of a photographer and a keen boater, and as a travelogue for my disabled son to be able to view, and a personal video diary.
I have always aimed at making near broadcast quality videos with a mixture of vlogs and cinematic films.
My videos are not weekly, and as things stand currently I do not know when the next one will be released because of personal circumstances.
I want to thank each and every one of my subscribers and anyone who has watched my videos, supported me, liked and commented on my videos.
Stick with me as I will be back, but I just cannot say when at this moment in time.

I’m away from the rivers and canals on a trip of a lifetime to Iceland.
Iceland has always been on my bucket list of places to visit, but even more so at the moment with the new eruption.
With a fascination of the natural world and geology and geography I had to come and experience this powerful display of raw nature.
It is so mind bogglingly powerful and amazing, I will make every effort to make a video that is worthy of this natural spectacle.

Only a couple of weeks ago I was ticking off one of my bucket list places. The ancient city of Petra. One of the 7 wonders of the world.
Here are a few hints and tips to make your trip successful. And a walking tour of some of the trails to some amazing tombs and viewpoints.

I must apologise for my absence these past few weeks.
I’ve been quite poorly with a heavy cold that’s turned into an infection.
I will be the first to admit that it has gotten me down quite a bit and I have been very reflective. This time of the year is not a good time of the year for me for various reasons but as we spring forward, lighter and brighter days will get me through.
