EVERY XTRATUNA SONG RANKED BASED ON THEIR USE OF THE F WORD!
Ranking based both on comedic value and unironic use in the song.

(If you don't care about my thought process then just skip the bit inbetween the "- - -" or better yet, read the version on Xtra's community section since that's heavily trimmed down)

Gonna be going in order from bottom to top:

16-12: D tier

Lumped these all togheter since there's not much to say. Their use of the f word doesn't particularly add to the song aside from basic shock factor. I don't think they are bad but their use of the f word is rather shallow

11: "Hotel of madness"

This is the song that suffered the most when listening to all of these back to back. In fact it used to be placed right below the Michael song. It's just that, while very funny, it's joke (That being title dropping the name of the game) isn't particularly enanched by the f word. It happens twice and only one has the f word and it's not even the one which leads into the beat drop and instrumental break. Unfortunately it just can't go higher as far as I am concerned

10: "Jackie's Box"

Ok, hear me out. Of course listening to this song over and over has (teacher) sorrowed it's comedic value but I can't deny how good "My name is the fucking mimic" is as a line for this song. It's the first line in the song and it perfectly sets the mood for what you are about to experience. We also can't forget that it's main use happens right after the David verse. Perfect back to back hit to leave the listener truly baffled. I also think it's very funny how the mimic sings "Entrance of the gladiators" and it sounds like it's drowning. This masterpiece of a verse is also followed up by "My name is Jackie and I'm FUCKING backie" which is an absolutely wonderful lyric for reasons that need not to be mentioned.

All of this sounds great but there's only one issue.. it's Jackie's box. One of Tuna's worst songs from an unironic stand point. While all I mentioned is indeed a riot, I can't pretend like lines like these are better than anything above it.

9: "An eye for an eye for an eye"

This is where the songs and their use of the f word begin to get good.

This song tries to replicate the Purple guy verse (which also has an f word for the record) in #TornAliveSong . You can clearly see that that's one of the higher ranked songs in this tier list and I'd say I like this just as much as that one. The thing is that this one really only lives by MIMICKING the style of it's older brother. Again, I do like it but I gotta give credit to other songs which were more creative/smart in their use of the f word.

8-7: "The wario apparition" and "A captain's curse"

These two follow a very similar way to go about their use of the f word; that being having the songs sound extremly aggressive, to the point where the use of the f word actually kinda works yet still manages to get you good for a good laugh.

The wario apparition song has it appear suddenly in the Luigi verse with this line: "There's a crazy f head living in my edition", a line that very directly references the whole "every Mario 64 copy is personalized phenomenon", almost cornily so. You can really tell that Tuna is the man behind this line and that's great. The curse word itself is also censured with an M64 sound effect; like something you'd hear in old mario machinemas. That's great, it feels very authentic.

The mouthwashing song on the other hand has so many that it's insane. The two main ones are the ones in the chorus and in the "I hate my fucking life" line. The latter on the second go through changes to "I love my fucking life" with no real explenation; meanwhile the chorus one of course reappears at the second chorus with the angelic sounding vocals. I shouldn't have to explain why that's hilarious

6: "Find you"

Ok, this is probably the biggest sneak out of all these but I couldn't bring myself to bring this any lower cause of what it means for this channel. The fact that it's Tuna's first song and one with one of the most unironically fitting uses of the word, while still being pretty goofy (Don't think you could put the word "fuck" in a nerdcore song without it sounding goofy), really sells Tuna's whole "music creation is my passion" vibe and it also plays greatly into the idea that the song might be unironic. In a way it's the perfect introduction to the channel and I wouldn't have it any other way.

5-4: "The circle" and "Excecute"

Ok, these two I could go either way. Sometimes just saying the f word is just kind of funny. No deep meaning. Just funny.

The Gaster song is a whole build up for this one line. Definitely helps that it's one of Tuna's better songs, unironically. If you haven't heard the song before I am not gonna spoil it, just listen to it for yourself.

In the Sonic song he just randomly screams "FUCK!!" in a really gutteral voice and I think that's really funny.

3: "Torn Alive"

I teased this before but it really is that good. The Purple Guy verse is probably one of Tuna's best verses. The way it starts normal but then quickly goes south with him swearing like a sailor but still managing to keep the flow somewhat, only for it to completely crash and burn when he begins smoking (which btw, is a reference to "An Under's tale").. it's just.. it's just masterful.

I didn't even count it that much, since it's tecnically not meant to be part of the song, but the Bacon bit in the song, while I may not love it as much as everyone else, is still also absolutely great. Just goes to show how much fire Tuna managed to write for this song.

2: "Animal crossing"

The toss up between this and the next song was insane but I think placing this here is fair.

I could write a whole essay on why this song is brilliant but I'll try to keep it brief. This is clearly Tuna's most insane song topic as of yet, he himself sort of admits it in the description with "Try not to meme this one too hard guys". In a way it feels sort of like the end of Xtratuna, where he just fully lean into the jokes and no longer tries to write songs which are funny cause they are sincere but cause they are manufactured to be as such. Still.. the song is pretty catchy and there's nothing too weird with it. The song builds to the ending chorus with Homer and the chicken and just as it starts to get good.. THE SONG HITS YOU WITH A VIRUS POP UP!!

Words can't express how clever this is. Serving you with such a basic and obviously bad song just to then hit you with such an upper cut out of nowhere is actually insane.


The thing is.. this is great but it doesn't have to do with this tier list's topic.. or does it? You might have not noticed but if you pause at the right moment, right before the pop up, the lyrics in the chorus change to "WE ARE CROSSING THE FUCKING ROAD".
IN A WAY THIS SORT OF FEELS LIKE META COMMENTARY ON TUNA'S PREVIOUS EXCESSIVE SWEARING. Like the world itself said "Not this time, Tuna".

Just an Xtra layer to this comedic masterpice.

1: "Animatronic assasin"

The reason why this is above the previous song is cause I feel like this one's reason for being so good has way more to do with it's use of the f word when compared to the other where it was just a bonus.

This whole thing starts with a verse where Bon goes over every person which betrayed him while he was alive (which, reminder that it's all made up lore... You can't make this up lol) and then it greatly transitions into this sort of 'fast rap' segment which ends with these words being spoken by a robotic voice, them being: "Motherfucking robot". In a way this is actually really good but corny, kinda like the rap verse in #TornAliveSong . The AA verse then happens again but this time sung by the guard (I don't know Walten Files lore so I don't know her name). It's clearly way worse than Bon's version cause it's clearly using an higher pitch filter but it's still pretty decent and it ends with the same line about the MF robot. The song then just suddenly hits you with an actually REALLY good instrumental break and, before you can even process who allowed Tuna to cook this hard, it then hits you AGAIN with the "I am stuck in the rabbit forever" verse which in contrast is one of Tuna's WORST verses..

Like..

It's just such an insane rollercoaster, I gotta put this at number 1.

Great achievement for one of Tuna's magnum opuses (Channel so good it has multiple of those)

This was the Xtratuna post I have had in mind for a while and only just released now to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of "Jackie's Box". Bet none of you predicted that it was gonna be this.

Ps: In a way while writting this I kinda realized, this is kinda my ultimate "love letter" to this channel.

Thanks Xtratuna for this year of hilarious and catchy songs, these legit bring a smile to my face everytime a new one drops.

Ok.. confession time..

You know how, when I made my Silksong dlc boss predictions, I had a little pubblic playlist with other people's predictions, just in case anyone wanted to compare them?

I only got around to watching them today..

I don't want to turn predictions into a competition and I do feel like people should be able to share their thoughts without anyone judging them.. with that said man were most of these videos kinda boring.. just scrapped content there, scrapped content there, sprinkled with a bit of "I really want Grimm to come back". (To be fair, I was focused on the pantheons while most of these people were focused on general dlcs ideas, something which is way more prone to be used to bring back scrapped content. Just a bit disappointed that that's all people seemed to wanna bring up).

All this just to say that I actually really like this guy's predictions. This video came out after the reveal that the previously scrapped steel assasins would be making a return (this also means that you wouldn't have had that much time to watch it via my playlist so there's another reason I wanna shout this out) so from the thumbnail I kind of figured this was gonna be more "scrapped content, therefore" but it geniually surprised me. It was very fun and creative.

It even fixes one of the major issues with my predictions, that being their lack of theming.

Again, I know this just a random short but I'd highly recommend you check it out.

Happy 1 year anniversary Jackie's Box. it's insane that the song which brought me and so many people to the wonderful little channel known as Xtratuna is a year old. Time flies when you are listening to bangers.

To celebrate this wonderful occasion I'll be doing two things.

1- Listen to Jackie's Box for the whole entirety of today (within of reason, physical tolerance and the limits of the socially acceptable) (That and if a streamer I like streams that day, something which I actually know for a matter will happen but :/)

2- Release a funny little celebration post which I had the idea for for quite some time.

The post is not gonna come out exactly today and may in fact take until Wednesday. That is just in case Tuna decides to drop a new song to celebrate. I am giving myself this two day room since that's how long it took for him to release the celebratory EP for the anniversary of "Find you".

Look forward to that.
